My apartment has carpet and linoleum. We wanted to switch apartments as soon as the last lease was up(one room to two room) so ours was a little under prepared. Whoever lived here previously must have been a chain smoker who couldn't keep a hold of their cigarettes. Probably an elderly. There are burn marks on the living room carpet as well on the linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. Additionally they shoved cigarette butts in the top of the door frame on the front door. I have the couch covering the ones in the living room but I can't do anything with the burns on linoleum. I thought about asking the manager to get it replaced but I don't know if I care enough.
