  3. Anyone know if Shield Hero's first proper episode had any scenes that weren't in the CR preview?
  4. So does anyone know if the first proper episode was different from the Crunchyroll preview? I know it didn't have OP or ED but were there any scenes missing?
  5. I watched all of the first season and liked it well enough. It set up some interesting things at the end of the season. I'm really looking forward to season 2.
  6. It's the only DC show that's consistently great. Even when it feels like it's gone on too long, there's enough awesome moments packed in each episode to make it worth it.
  7. I'd feel more inclined to respect Nick Cramer's opinion if, in another review, he hadn't boiled pedophilia down to "not my bag" just a couple of days later.
  8. I didn't watch much, but I wanna throw out a vote for Tsurune as one of the most underrated shows of the year. There's still two more episodes so the ending could go sideways, but it's been a consistently great mix of traditional sports tropes and character development.
  9. I really liked the first episode of Dororo and am looking forward to more. The Rising of the Shield Hero was interesting enough and while I didn't find it as controversial as ANN did, I do recognize that there are some problematic elements. I am interested in seeing more. The only other new show I'll be picking up is The Promised Neverland.
  10. Oh so I guess your high school was the center of the world? Cool. As someone who has seen all of Part 4, yes they do. The series starts as an suburban fantasy. The creepy horror part doesn't even start till the middle of the series. The first OP is fun, funky, loud, and colorful... just like Josuke, his friends, and Moriah Town. The other two openings fit perfectly as well. As for the ending it perfectly captures the fun of the late 90s. If you want to get semantic over the endings then I guess the first half of Stardust Crusaders needs a new ED because they don't actually get to Egypt until the end.
  11. Um no. No, they'd hadn't. I Knew I Loved You came out in September 1999 and instantly became their biggest hit (eclipsing Truly, Madly, Deeply). In fact the only reason they faded from popularity is because they broke up in 2001. In fact, they were so popular in 1999 that I Knew I Loved You spent 4 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, hit number 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary and Top 40 charts, and spent 124 weeks on the Adult Contemporary charts. Their second album Affirmation was released in November of 1999 and went triple platinum in the US. So try again.
