I think you've just never tried good coffee before and that you might like it if you tried it. I used to hate pickles, but then I tried a real pickle at a real cafe and it was amazing! Now the thing I say I is that I can't stand fast food pickles. I let one set of bad experiences define my pickle stance for a long time and I missed out on a lot of good pickle times.
