This is the kind of rationality the neighborhood the incident took place in is lacking.
The dude lives in his van, was parked in a church parking lot close to a friend of mine. My buddy had a shopping cart full of art supplies, for badass street art. Dude decides he doesn't like it, it's blowing up "his" spot like he owns the ground he walks on where ever he goes. He challenges my friend to a fight, and I go to tell my buddy, you know, you don't have to go fight that guy. You don't have to play his game. Right? Well, that blew up in a physical confrontation and that was several months ago. Couple days ago, he rolls up in his van on the lot of the rest of us all hanging out and starts calling me a bitch. I tell him that's a projection his part, he turns to violence to easily, and what does he do? Instantaneously get out of his van to prove my point. Nobody chimed in, nobody stopped him. I spoke up for what was right in spite of the inherent risk. I was the only brave person surrounded by a bunch of cowards. Not my hang out spot anymore.
