how many of you use the same posting style you used on AS?
Raptorpat replied to mumbo's topic in Free-For-All
My posting style has evolved dramatically over the past 14 and a half years as I've aged as a person. Thankfully there is no archive to compare. -
I think it is probably contextual.
-
If your question is why certain people here like that stuff, that I cannot answer.
-
To my knowledge, that stuff is either kept in tagged NSFW threads, hidden behind spoiler tags, or kept in DF. And if it's not, no one reported it.
-
What?

tell her she got a bday thread to scope out

Happy birthday @scoobdogand @Stonergoth187 Sorry you have to share

I can't recall if the rule for the first year was you couldn't work more than 20 hours a week or you couldn't work at all, but it was one of the two not that you would have the time to work

there were two traceys in our class. one we called 'mom tracey' because she was a mother of maybe college-aged (or older) kids the other one we called 'grandma tracey'

there's always a token old lady in every law school graduating class

i suppose i could have gone with 'plant your flag' instead of 'spread your seed'
-
not for nothing, but the Noise drama doesn't travel north of FFA to the other topical media sections to go back and butcher the "balkanization" metaphor someone used, maybe it's time the topical toonamites (or whatever the tribe name is) spread their seed and claim more topical turf

Nah I went home to bed. We play like a casual tournament style, where buy-ins are $20 and you can buy back in up to a certain point in the night. So I bought back in because I didn't want to go home, and on my second life I started doing good and was there for another four hours but ultimately lost again because I got tired and ran out of stamina.
-
I won the first couple hands, then lost a couple big hands and got knocked out when it was just a tad bit too early to leave friends I see once every several months, so I bought back in and then was there another four hours.
-
Ok so I'm down $40
-
Nah we play with big/small binds. I'm just bad at next level stuff in some settings. Like chess. I know what all the pieces do, but I just can't plan moves ahead and just move pieces.

Texas hold'em, unless not enough people go and they just do dealer's choice.

My strategy is that I know what the cards do but I can't read people and I can't calculate the odds for when to call or fold. So basically I am unreadable because I have no strategy.
