It once again bears asking how much influence DeMarco had on the storytelling, or if this was a case of "too many cooks in the kitchen" and he's not the sole object of blame. Visually, the show is hardly the best of the season, with the best outright animation crown going to either Yaiba: Samurai Legend or Gundam GQuuuuuuX. Storywise, the show is all over the place, failing to bring together everything into a cohesive whole. It's another L for Adult Swim Originals.
