    Last night I got a call from Amazon’s incident report team about the whole “going to their driver at 4am with a weapon”, deal. They understood I thought it was a thief, apologized and de-escalated as per their official report, but you never feel good after doing an incident report, even if they make it clear it was a misunderstanding and everyone understands.

    Amazon apparently does deliveries at 4am. I heard my doorbell ring, and I went outside with a bat thinking it was a thief or something. Instead it was some delivery driver. I had to apologize for having a weapon, but come on, 4am?!

    Is it insider trading if you see it from ten miles away? I still took it on the chin with my brokerage and that was despite shielding as best I could. When the all clear comes to lift these tarrifs, I expect the values to skyrocket. Folks are buying cheap I bet waiting for that moment.

    The original New Deal and utterly massive investment nets into infrastructure, arts, and the like followed the Great Depression. When MAGA’s are thrown out, you likely will see the same sort of re-investment and re-hiring if for no other reason than to get money moving again out of that space beneath the mattress.
