Oh, what about designer watches? Seems everybody looks at their phone to get the time now, as opposed to looking at a watch. I actually do wear a watch to work because we're not allowed to have our phones on us while in most of the building (although the whole COVID-19 thing has put a pause on that restriction), so I bought a cheap watch to wear to work. Don't wear it anywhere else.

So I saw a bump on AS that asked who would you pick to make the COVID-19 movie? And showed a giant list of directors. The bump people chose Wes Anderson. Knowing AS, I was quite surprised they didn't pick Tommy Wisseaux.

My birthday was March 15. I don't think we had the shelter in place order yet, but my parents decided to forgo taking me out to dinner because of the covid.

This hasn't been the case for me. The only difference is that instead of going to band practice, I'm playing guitar and writing and (shoddily) recording music on my own, which I haven't really done in at least a year and a half.

I find Hotel California massively overrated, but I don't hate it to the point of the other three songs I mentioned. It may actually be my least favorite of the Eagles' hits though. I like Life in the Fast Lane a lot more and I can't remember the title or even the exact lyric, but the one about wild nights is a lot better than that song too.

I almost never listen to the radio anymore. Pretty much any station I would listen to is either all classic rock or majorly classic rock, but there's two problems with that: They play the same songs until the end of time, and in relatively recent years my most hated rock genres, post-grunge and nu-metal have been getting regular rotation on classic rock stations. I started listening to classic rock stations as a teenager to get away from that shit. Basically the only time I would listen to the radio is in the car, but now I play music from my phone on a bluetooth speaker. Before I got fed up with the radio, probably the songs in heavy rotation that I hated the most were White Wedding by Billy Idol, Jack and Diane by John Cougar Melloncamp, and Centerfold by The J. Geils Band.
