I was actually speaking in terms of the author's perspective. Sometimes the thing you first create is fine on its own and there's a mental block against writing anything more in that 'world' . So for the author, maybe the sequel was floating around in the background but it had no need to really form up and demand to be written despite any external demands by fans.

It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for them to continue running season 1 and 2 in the later slot while starting up season 3 in the earlier slot once that becomes an option. It would allow them to continue to run everything they have while they still have rights for it all, would finish up the series altogether, and placeholder both spots. Depending on how everything gets spaced anyway, season 3 could finish and then replay still in sequence after season 2 finished in that later slot. I don't see Titan getting a weeknight run. The hour they have to play with the most is the bridge between the CN evening stuff and the Fox reheats. That's not a spot that would do well playing a show where people get eaten and puked back up. Violent and very cartoony type things like Dragon Ball [ anything ] kind of work that bridge just fine but more realistic anime would probably give someone in programming heartburn.

Which, for there to be an actual sequel or for the sequel to actually be published? I think there's sometimes a problem with having a sequel if the first book is strong enough to stand by itself. There needs to be a reason for going back to that world. There's reason now. Here's hoping that it's not a crappy forced sequel though. -.-;

TBS might just be squatting on it trying to figure out how to fit it in and not willing to let it go to another channel in the line. It could be on a slow burn towards airing on [ as ] which I think would be during this hour of blending time they have right now. And there's always the possibility that there are disputes off the record that are keeping it from actually being aired until such a time as the disputes are dealt with.

I believe that currently a number of the 'between' shows are being used as a bridge between the CN time and the [ as ] time to see if they can retain viewers from that section into the more 'adult' airings. They only have so many Fox re-heats to run in the evenings now so drawing on stuff that is already owned by Turner and capable of airing at any time slot is an affordable alternative. Be prepared for Regular Time as well. Steven Universe maybe not although we'll see. I do think that not playing things in order and dancing all over the place with the episodes isn't the best way to use this time though.

The snow drifts are past the point where I can see outside my apartment even when standing on tip toe. I have to hit the doors on the building about every 30 minutes to push them up and pull them shut again to keep the drifts from covering the doors and the ice from forming and locking the building completely shut. The apartment office closed at noon in order for anyone to get anywhere so I'm the only person for this building to help keep an eye on things for them now. There is no getting anywhere from here for the next couple of days at the very least - the drifts beyond the doors are up to 9 feet tall in some places. The plows got pulled hours ago and the cops are using snowmobiles to go places. And I'm out of snacks.
