There was 10 minutes left on the clock 10 minutes ago. And now there's 7 minutes on the clock. Which will take another 30 minutes to actually get through. I hate football. I just want to watch the nightly news like any self-respecting old person. And that was supposed to start 5 minutes ago. All the channels are running football games. There should be a couple of laws. One, you can't clog up every 'free over the air' channel with sports bullshit. At least one should be free of that plague. Secondly, no damn time outs once there's only 10 minutes left of the damn game unless someone loses a shin or something.

While there is that, there was a point during testimony on the first day that seemed to hook the defendant's attorney's attention a little too much. There might have been something in it that he wasn't aware of or knew wouldn't help his client at all if pursued and they opted for a lesser charge through the judge.

I tend to keep it between 65-68'F in the winter but that's just so the pipes don't freeze when it hits -30'F . I like the cold otherwise.

Past 10 years, I've been summoned 3 times. First was for a federal trial and I was selected. Something happened overnight and after sitting on our butts for 30 minutes, we were dismissed on Day 2. Best part about it was it was on a freight day at work so no freight day for me. Second summons was this year and would have occurred when I was traveling for Dragon Con so I sent in a letter of excusal, never heard from them, had to call the night before I was supposed to be at the courthouse and found out it had been cancelled completely. Didn't think anything more about it until I got home from the trip and there was another summons sitting in my mailbox despite my term of service having expired [ ND you get set up for 4 month incriments if selected so you have a little warning in advance that something might come up ] . No excuses on that one but it was also cancelled at the last minute. I don't mind jury duty. Plus, every time a summons has occurred people at work are like 'do they know what kind of weirdo you are? '

It's starting to be more common in larger cities to have more places for used needle drops. Supposedly for diabetics but...whatever keeps the sharps from ending up in the regular trash and poking through at people during clean-up.

Toss up. Port-a-potty at a Ren Fest was really horrible. Hundreds of turkey-leg-stuffed bowels lubricated with assorted beers and meads all using the same 10 plastic caskets. And ye old Outhouse. As in real wood with crescent cut-out on the damn door and sears catalog TP outhouse. Some joker put a real toilet seat with lid in there but they didn't attach it. When you are small enough to fall through the hole ass-first, the last thing you need is the seat shifting in any way, shape or form when you are crawling up there trying not to get a splinter.

It really depends on the day, what the issue is and how much time I have to spend on it. A bad day at work might lead to stopping at B&N on the way home for a fancy coffee, especially if it's the end of the week / last shift of the week so I can just kick back once home. On Sundays in general I try to go for the mini spa treatment just to wash the previous week away - face mask thingie and a soak. General depression and short on time - Weird Al, AMVs, cat videos, gifs with sound crap on youtube. Medical bitchiness that requires steam release of some kind - Super Mario Galaxy 2. Find a planet full of goombas and stomp the 'tard out of them. Repeat. Naps are good too. Can't cause mischief or have mischief done to you if you are curled up sleeping with a kitten on guard detail.

The trouble I've found with some so-called 'free' trials is that you often just end up paying for them in terms of buffering time for everything. Otherwise, I use title sequences of things I've seen a hundred times over as bathroom breaks and snack-attacks. And let's keep things civil and to topic. Everyone. Ban hammers are still really warm right now and that makes for shorter fuses all around.

I do like Pita Pit. You guys can just burn the fat off with some exercise and calorie maintenance because your muscles just melt that shit. Females tend to carry certain shitty fats no matter what because those fats are supposed to break down and build up brains in growing spawn [ said 'good' fat is then slowly replaced by horrible pucker-ass fat but that's another battle ] . Plus, you might lose the actual weight-weight, someone like myself would lose pure water weight first which would just be gained back the second I don't pee 5 gallons a day. And sickness loss doesn't count, dude! I mean, yeah it works but damn it's painful. Food poisoning - the great equalizer when it comes to gender-based weight loss.
