If you find the settings you need to choose WPA2 and set up a password. Usually the techs from your isp would have this set up for you or make sure it was done before leaving.

The only way she can see what you were doing is either through the use of a program designed to tell her what ports your computer is operating, or with admin privledges she might be able to see some stuff idk. If she has administrator priveledges on the network she could screw with you quite a bit by kicking you off.

Your activity? If she's a hacker with the right tools she could see that, but if not the worst you have to worry about is her clogging up your bandwidth, and well also possibly infecting your computer with malicious programs if neither of you have any firewalls or antivirus programs.

Yeah if it's not for you it's not for you.. Dean is supposed to be a pretty boy. The writers use that angle for some decent sitcom level comedy every now and then to. Sam is supposed to be the more..laid back normal one. They use the good cop bad cop angle a lot. I just think it's crazy those two have almost went through half their lives playing the characters as well. It provides the show with a little bit more realness for sure.

It's had a few different writers over the course of it's exsistence, and a few less then appealing seasons, but the story as a whole is pretty deep. It puts shit like charmed to shame for sure. I was surprised it kept me going when I first netflix binged it years ago.
