At first I just hated the fans because of how annoying they seemed to be. And so pious about the show, too. Then I gave the show a chance, which was a mistake. To each their own, unless it's Doctor Who.

For me it was back in 2009. Family disowned me, but not before abusing me one last time, and took my college funding away. It was too expensive to continue school so I withdrew. Grandma dies, dad convinces every one I ignored her dying wish even though I didn't even know she was sick, much less had died. They believed him and I had to bring a bodyguard to her funeral, which I wasn't invited to. Wound up homeless, lost nearly 70lbs in a month, mostly from all the stress and not so much the lack of food. I was eating exclusively out of a dumpster of a restaurant. Was exhausted and cold and tried to kill myself but was stopped. Had the cops called on me when I was resting on a bench outside of a shopping center. They told the police I was breaking into the Piggly Wiggly...at 7pm, so it was still open. One of the officers sympathized with me but his partner pulled a gun on me and threatened to shoot. The other cop got him to back down and called my next of kin which lead to another bad year, though not as bad as 2009.

I've never seen the point of having more than 3. One for browsing the web, one for videos/streaming, and one for games or whatever project I'm working on (art, video, 3D, etc.). Or! Playing different porn simultaneously on each screen.

Melee only got as popular as it did in the competitive scene because of unintended combos. The creator hated it, too. It's a really freestyle but highly technical game which is why I love it. But a lot of your main stay move sets are still being discovered, 15 years later. Largely unintended but that's what makes the game.

Yep. The screen in the back is the main stage. The tables in front are other matches happening. Snapped a picture cause one of the guys is a pro player.

I was at EVO all day yesterday. Saw so many amazing players, there. Also saw a couple of booths with demos for upcoming games. They were Gundam Versus and Dragonball FighterZ. The lines were waaaay too long though so I didn't play either one.
