Melee only got as popular as it did in the competitive scene because of unintended combos. The creator hated it, too. It's a really freestyle but highly technical game which is why I love it. But a lot of your main stay move sets are still being discovered, 15 years later. Largely unintended but that's what makes the game.

Yep. The screen in the back is the main stage. The tables in front are other matches happening. Snapped a picture cause one of the guys is a pro player.

I was at EVO all day yesterday. Saw so many amazing players, there. Also saw a couple of booths with demos for upcoming games. They were Gundam Versus and Dragonball FighterZ. The lines were waaaay too long though so I didn't play either one.

Haven't been in a church for at least a decade, but all the Baptist ones I went to in Alabama had breakfast Sunday morning, dinner Sunday night, and dinner Wednesday afternoon. Most of them were a 60/40 or 40/60 split of white and black. Never went into any of the Korean churches or Catholic ones.

Christ, Axle, was that really such a difficult message to interpret? I know I'm long-winded but I kept repeating the basic idea the entire time. Just don't be dismissive of what others have gone through. You were being lazy and deflecting the discussion because you're a "simple man." You just don't want to learn anything new because it's different from what you've known.

I've really hated Legion so far. WoD was absolutely horrible but at least I enjoyed some PvP. The systems in place that I have to endure for each toon, and each spec just by themselves has been turning me away. And now they're cramming in this off the wall lore.

I don't know if I could ever be that far above people in my company and treat them like that. But at the same time, there's hopefully some reason for stuff like this. On the flipside, I'm privy to the fact that a lot of these hour cuts are to line the pockets of higher ups and their bonuses, which they have control over. Wish I had some say in my own bonus.

I had a job years ago where the manager would give me inconsistent hours. So one week I'd have 39 hours (cause we can't give you 40!) and then the next week I'd have 8 hours. After a few weeks of that, I put in my two weeks notice.
