Suggestions for who shall take up the mantle of New Fuggs

Which Babbler do you see him regularly in a conflict with and claiming, that he supposedly likes "macking" with other "men" on the board? BTW: I was born and raised FEMALE. The fact that some posters go out their way to be malicious for no reason only shows how petty and hateful they really are. -

Well... he has wasted the last 3 years obsessing over sexually explicit jokes that I and another fellow Babbler, who he has a great disdain for traded before we left Lithium. It was all in good fun. Me thinks NaBraniel balls were seriously burned by the fact, that I barely gave him much attention on Lithium. Originally, I never had any problems with him. It wasn't until he started regurgitating a malicious smear campaign about me supposedly being a man, that put him on my Shit List. Regardless, I am beyond sick and tired of a 3-year-old malicious smear campaign, that had nothing to do with him. It's time to give it a rest. I want absolutely nothing to do with him and wish he would get a life, that doesn't revolve around obsessing over who I talk to and joke around with for fun. -

Bull fucking shit. You were just in a thread I posted a month or so ago and had you removed from it. The fact that you love pulling my name out of thin air for targeting practice is enough. Seriously, get a fucking life. -

Go fuck yourself you worthless piece of shit. I'm sick of you dragging and smearing my reputation through the mud and following me around like some crazed stalker. I want absolutely nothing to do with you. You seriously need to get a fucking life. -
Happy Birthday! Enjoy your day!🎂

I have to admit, you are absolutely right. Mochi's threads are usually very predictable even when they are clickbait. Generally speaking, I think part of the main reason why I still lurk and occasionally post on this board is because I still hold onto that small glimmer of hope, that someone can post a thread or comment about something that's positive. This is not limited to shows. It may seem that way to Toonami posters, but like I said before, it's hard to post much of anything on this site without someone always being a mood killer or a troll. I'm not saying there are any trolls in here right now, but you see how some other posters are around this board. Some friends from ASMB ask me on Facebook why I still waste time posting here because barely anyone posts on this site. From time to time, there are still some friends without social media accounts, who still post here. Lately, they've been missing because they're busy with their own lives and because nothing or no one resonates with them. That last part I can especially agree with them on. Almost nothing or no one resonates with me here. The fact that so many forums and other sites keep shutting down because they can't compete with Facebook doesn't help. I thought I was weening myself from Facebook. Now, I must try weening myself from this board. LOL! It's pointless to keep posting on a site, when there is nothing or no one that resonates with you.

Don't sit there and call me "Mooselina" because there are a lot of names, that quite a few of us can sit and call you. Then, you would be whining about how everyone picks on you. This goes beyond Toonami posters bitching about Black Clover. Throughout last year, you did the same thing; bitching about Tokyo Ghoul in other sub-forums around this board. Meanwhile, Tokyo Ghoul was "trending" on social media. It's like some of you have serious OCD with shows you have a personal hatred for. Like I said more than once or twice, if you don't like a show, don't watch it. There are shows you love, that some of us simply hate too. However, we don't post divisive threads or purposely go out our way to derail other posters' threads to complain and mock their fans. If we did, you would be legitimately sick of us. Originally, I wasn't going to post on this board, especially not today. Honestly, this is the only forum outside of ASMB I've ever belonged to where the posters have to always pick everything and everyone apart, and can never stay on topic. I was about to post another thread in Anime & Manga. Because I know there will be at least 1 poster there to derail it because they have a problem with a show for whatever reason, I had changed my mind. Do any of you people genuinely like any of the shows you watch, or are you only worried about a show's ratings and its popularity or lack thereof? I've tried getting some friends to come back to this board to post, but they don't want to come back. They don't want to sit and read the negative, backhanded, and divisive remarks in threads about something or someone. There were threads in other sub-forums I almost posted in over the last 2 weeks or so. Then, I changed my mind because it didn't take long for a poster to make some snide remark or to mock someone else' sub-culture or something else. Posting on this board really isn't that much fun. I actually question why I still bother to lurk or post here.

*takes deep breath and tries maintaining sanity* For those who love bitching for the sake of bitching and can't see the big picture, Asta annoys Yami and the other characters on Black Clover with his screaming. It's a major flaw of his, which actually makes it funny. Asta is also REALLY passionate about becoming the Wizard King and feels grateful to have even made it on any squad, considering that he has no magic. As far as having a horrid personality, have you ever considered how incredibly horrid and downright sickening it is to sit and read the same complaints by the same posters, especially those who do nothing other than push their political agenda 24/7, and throws tantrums because their political agenda is not met with every movie and TV show? Have you ever taken into consideration that, "Hmm.. even though I may hate this show, there are still other people that actually like it and don't care about me complaining about how I can't convert every character to fit my narrative, sexual fantasies, or fan fiction"? For the love of God already, give it rest! If you don't like the show, don't watch it! Let other people watch what we want to watch in peace and you can watch what you want to watch. Everybody doesn't like the same thing you like and shouldn't have to. Why is it such a hard concept to grasp with this çommunity? If more posters spent LESS time complaining about every little thing known to man, there would probably be more of us posting on this board! Good God! This is exactly why some posters want down votes to be implemented to this board.

Here's Another Anime Adult Swim Overlooked Years Ago
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Anime & Manga
Most people dislike Anime for many reasons. The main reason being, that they believe cartoons are only meant for kids. However, that doesn't stop those same people from bum rushing kids to go see the latest Disney film. It also doesn't help that they believe that every Anime comes from Toonami and that Toonami is an Anime genre.- 16 replies

Here's Another Anime Adult Swim Overlooked Years Ago
PurgatoryGirl replied to PurgatoryGirl's topic in Anime & Manga
Personally, I liked every show on Chiller TV's Anime Wednesday block, which was something I could never say about Toonami. However, Is This A Zombie? did not fit the branding for a Horror Anime block. You can thank NBC Universal for Chiller TV's programming and the lack of viewership. Chiller was extremely niche and had highly syndicated programing in general. It would've been much better, if Chiller TV was a premium channel like HBO, Starz, Encore, etc. Then, more viewers could've watched uncensored shows without commercial breaks.- 16 replies

Too bad the Anime Wednesday block only lasted all of 3 weeks on Chiller TV, 3 years ago. As of last year, the network ceased. The lack of advertising for Chiller's Anime Wednesday, didn't help. Also, had Devil May Cry or Tokyo Majin started the block rather than Is This A Zombie?, and had Chiller been a part of both cable and satellite packages, more viewers could've watched the block. Tokyo Majin's not a bad series. When Adult Swim aired more Anime years ago, Tokyo Majin could've actually been a part of the network's lineup.

black_clover Black Clover Page 17 Discussion!!

You know what? I'm not going to waste time arguing about it. In fact, I've been done with this thread, since last week yet it is still going because posters keep responding to me in it. Right now, I'm getting ready to unfollow the notifications like I did for the last few threads. Posting in this same thread is tiresome. -

After 2 weeks, I'm surprised this thread is still active. Anyway, judging from what I've observed, it seems like the only reason why the worst of the worst haven't been given the Moose treatment is because they conveniently PAID to be on this site after Luuv died. Since they paid to be here, they are free to dog out whoever they want, whenever they want without remorse for it. -

PurgatoryGirl replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
That has to be the biggest problem. Because the assholes running Adult Swim have no respect for their viewers, veteran viewers who were veteran posters of ASMB think they can walk all over and dog out other posters. They especially do it more to women whether they view us as "fap material" or not. Before deleting my Twitter account last year, I lurked at Adult Swim's page. On their Twitter page, they posted this snide remark saying that "TV is the Internet for stupid people." So, anyone who watches TV including their network is STUPID because they don't watch shows online? Reading that remark reminded me of certain condescending posters from Noise, who think they are so much "SMAWTA" than everyone else. Anyone who doesn't share their narrow-minded hobbies, interests, views, lifestyle, and so-called definition of "morals" is beneath beneath them. -

Yes, I can absolutely agree with you on the issues listed above, which is why you could say that some if not most posters left ASMB before it shut down. There's too much toxicity within this çommunity. I've belonged to at least several message boards over the last 9 years. Much like every show has its own flaws, there are online forums and posters on them with their own flaws. However, there is something about the posters from ASMB that so much time gets wasted on being negative, hateful, and divisive. It's extremely difficult trying to generate discussions without someone always derailing threads to troll other posters they want to cyberstalk and bully, if not slander because they're petty, vindictive, self-righteous, sociopathic, misanthropic, have a chip on their shoulder, and a severe case of Little Dick Syndrome. Since I have belonged to other forums in the past, I'm used to actually having fun socializing without having to scrutinize someone's movie, show, viewer ratings (which can easily be rigged like voting), identity, lifestyle, etc. People don't and shouldn't have to join fan forums to talk about how they like a certain song, movie, show, etc. with other fans. I've lurked at fan forums for certain shows and the fans can be extremists. Also, forums are on life support these days because so many people have grown obsessed with liking and sharing selfies on Facebook. Don't even get me started on that site! It's like a narcissist's dream come true. Forums were the original "social networking sites." People are actually forced to interact with each other. Social media sites are isolating. You don't have to talk to anyone you don't want to and if they're crazy, you can report, unfriend, and block them. Both social media sites and message boards come with double edged swords. It really comes down to how people use them and if you're on them to have fun or spoil other people's mood with constant negativity. -

Exactly! If I went into every thread across this entire board to complain about every little thing known to man, just about everybody would want to ban me from this entire community. Here's something you may find funny. Last year for shits and giggles, I Googled "complaint.com" to see if such a site existed. Sure enough, it does! The moment I saw the actual link, I was like, "Well, I'll be damned!" -

I forgot all about this thread until now. What I'm talking about goes beyond Toonami posters from ASMB. This community in general always has something to bitch about, which I why you don't see me in most threads across this board. When ASMB posters aren't acting acting like they're Siskel & Every about a show, which is not limited to what airs on Adult Swim, they're bitching about politics, religions, food, their lives, how they can't get laid or a date, how they hate their lives, etc, etc. As for what airs on the Toonami block, a nice portion of you need to realize, that just because you don't like a certain show, doesn't mean others hate it like you do. In fact, most of the shows you like to nitpick for whatever reason are shows, that some of us actually like. Every show has it's flaws in some way or the other. However, we don't spend every post DWELLING on it. Most of the time, I cherry pick which shows I want to watch on TV but I don't spend HOURS online everyday complaining about every show. That's partly why there is so much infighting within both the Toonami fandom and Anime fans in general. -
Trying to decide which Toonami shows to watch
PurgatoryGirl replied to Winter_Rain's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Generally speaking, ASMB's community has serious problems. I can only withstand this çommunity in very small doses by mostly lurking, posting, and leaving. When most ASMB posters aren't bitching about entertainment, they're incessantly bitching and fighting over politics and about how miserable their lives are as people. Otherwise, they troll posters they have a personal hatred for and revel in making someone's life a living hell to the extent, that they are forced to completely disassociate from the community.
