Disability. There's tons of them. Most serious disabilities result in extreme poverty and often limit job opportunities. I know from experience that is an infuriating pain in the ass to get a job with an autoimmune disease that has an astronomical monthly cost and vision too poor to drive. Having to get a job without a drivers license has fucked me over a ridiculous number of times and that's not including the countless times I couldn't be successful at a job due to poor eyesight or could get a job but needed to pass since I require health insurance they didn't provide if I want to be able to eat. I don't even have the worst disabilities out there. There are far worse, significantly more common ones. And I'm still trapped in a horrifically low paying job while living in an absurdly expensive city with nowhere near enough money to move out of.
