I began working as a librarian a few years before the pandemic. I quit the profession last year. We often said that people seemed to get worse after the pandemic, as if they now feel it's acceptable to lash out because they're "stressed" or "going through something". Some would apologize, and I'd kind of accept it because I had to, but I've been going through hell for years and I still manage to be polite. So I personally think these people fully intend to use this excuse before they even step out the door, and I think the, erm...political climate...as of late...has emboldened them. That's not to say that this behavior didn't exist before, it just seemed to become more pronounced.

I started very few threads. I was always too anxious. Still am.

I'm waiting for my order of Thai food. I'll have some crab rangoons, curry puffs, and beef noodle soup.

I didn't know what this was so I had to look it up. Then I realized I was still logged into my client's YT channel. I don't want to have to explain some of the things that show up in your suggested feed after looking this kind of thing up. Yes, it's been a rough week.

After all of the work and money I put into my mom and cousin's visit, they ignored me from 4:30pm Sunday to the time they went back home just before 9am yesterday. They left without even saying goodbye. But mom remembered to take the $40+ worth of beef jerky I made her, stored in one of my best tupperware containers that I'll never see again. The woman has 0 shame or empathy. As I haven't received even an FB message from my cousin, my take is that she's also upset with me. I got her number, though. She's back to sucking ass for money, because she's always been poor, a side effect of chronic unemployment. She tried to get my mom's inheritance, and now she's trying to get mine. She can have it, I have self-respect and a job. My parents weren't even going to leave me anything until my brother died, I'm so over it.

I'm gonna need an angry reaction option. x.x

I haven't seen the new one yet, I'm a bit tired of Chris Pratt. He was fun in the Lego movie but now I just feel like Hollywood needs to give someone else a shot.
