Tim Hortons settles app spying lawsuit with free donut and coffee
Insipid replied to matrixman124's topic in Current Events
Basically Canadian Starbucks. There are a few in the US near the Canadian border. There was the one video you may have seen of a woman shitting on the floor and throwing her shit at the baristas a few years back. -
I guess I'll go full weeb speak this time. お誕生日おめでとう,リックさん。

I wouldn't go to a strip club in the first place. I never liked any of the girls I've personally known that said they worked as strippers, for one thing, so I imagine the club to have similar personalities.

The one I go to has the wait staff refill the drinks, so I feel a tip is necessary. I suppose that's fair, although buffet wait staff can probably handle more tables per person than regular restaurants. Of course, you can argue that doesn't mean their tip should be any different.
-
I normally tip ten percent if I sit down at a buffet (I do the standard twenty at regular restaurants). Today I got takeout from the buffet; you fill up a box and they weigh it at the end. I still tipped five percent, but I was wondering why? I normally tip ten percent for takeout, as someone had to wrap everything up. In this case, I wrapped everything myself. Would you still have tipped for takeout at a buffet?

I'm guessing premature ejaculation.

I'm sure Pelosi wanting to visit Taiwan has nothing to do with this: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/nancy-pelosis-husband-sells-4-million-worth-of-nvidia-stock-at-a-major-loss-11658943396 The CEO of Nvidia is Taiwanese.

Okay, NOW they need us to eat avocado toast
Insipid replied to matrixman124's topic in Current Events
Avocado toast is so bland, and Chipotle has really gone down the shitter . . . I guess if they start promoting California rolls somehow, I'll eat more. -
Techbros try turning themselves into tradable commodities

We should have heeded westpark's warnings about BATHLs. -
Alright, so how many random strangers have you fucked?

5 to 10, don't know exactly. Never paid, for the record. -
I think there's a better Aero . . . never mind.

Nope. More pathetic. Here was a typical God Says No post: Title: Inuyasha Body: is on. Repeat thousands of times until you get over 100k posts.

I remember the hilariously pathetic bitchfights you and Zeni would have.

When did winning the lottery become so stressful?
Insipid replied to matrixman124's topic in Current Events
Rather unusual way to use the downvote button, but regardless, yeah. I want an ultimate lottery, one where the odds are so low that the jackpot gets so enormous to the extent that the winner becomes the richest person alive. Let's see the cognitive dissonance billionaires will experience over that. -

lol, he disagrees. It's true though. Tell no one, not even your spouse or children, if you win. Gotta assemble a legal team and financial advisors before spilling the beans to anyone. People can turn really ugly with news of sudden fortune. -
lol

It's rather unfortunate I can't bump the one thread about who's the worst at reading the room.

Nope, I was completely wrong. Aldi Nord operates Trader Joe's, while Aldi Sud operates regular Aldi. Lidl is an entirely different company, and there are a few stores in the US, none near me.
-
Are there even any Lidl stores in the US? If I remember correctly, the equivalent here is actually Trader Joe's, which I agree is better . . . except that's more of a trip and the store is always very crowded.

VH1 is probably the saddest example of Cable TV Being Dead
Insipid replied to CountFrylock's topic in General Discussion
Hulu had quite an anime selection at the time, and I believe they do again at the moment. I don't watch that much anime these days, so . . . -
One just opened near me recently. The closest one to me before was about 15 minutes away, and I didn't go to it often as there were several grocery stores closer. Today I was in the mood for sausage, and I was able to buy imported sauerkraut, imported bratwurst, and mashed potato mix for about six bucks. I also noticed they really upped their game with organic produce and non-dairy milk. Also, I realize I'm getting old when I'm praising a grocery store. 😐

Dude, you're only a few years older than me. TV stopped being relevant to our generation ten years ago. Who cares? Use the fucking internet. -
lol, Gemini alts. I guess nabs must have been warned.

Time for fun facts nobody cares about. I recall you saying your original name "Nameraka Hanzaisha" is supposed to be Smooth Criminal in Japanese. Hanzaisha is the more formal way to say criminal. The more common way is Hannin. The word Nameraka does mean smooth, but it's not used in Japanese in the sense of being cool like in English. Kakkoii is more appropriate. So, Kakkoii Hannin. There's your shitty new alt suggestion.
