  1. No you don't. You really, really don't. I have most of my stuff in dresser drawers, or cabinets... even have a bunch of DVDs stuffed away in rubbermaid containers. I'm hoping in the coming year I can finally clean out some space so I can organize everything better, but the way it is now, if you were to name a random title in my collection, I'd probably have trouble finding it, even if you gave me like half an hour to do so. 😕
  2. Giant Robo OVA 3 - 5 Weathering With You If you get a chance to check this out while it's still in theatres, I'd recomend you do so. It was fantastic.
  3. Underwater 7/10 (Nothing that special about it, but I love a good monster movie, and while most of the ones I've seen lately have disappointed, this one did not.) Weathering With You 10/10 (I know lots of other people may disagree, but I liked the story for this better than Your Name's quite frankly. Of course the animation was incredible and gorgeous, as you would expect from any movie from Makoto Shinkai. This is probably my favorite movie of his to date; although, it seems like I say that every time he comes out with a new movie, heh.)
  4. Giant Robo OVA 1 & 2 Well, after about only a four year delay, I'm finally watching this.
  5. Yeah, she won the last immunity challenge actually, but she got no votes. Dean I think got two, so yeah, Tommy won pretty handily in the end.
  6. So I guess you didn't see what they're doing for next season then? Heh, it looks like it's going to be pretty epic.
  7. Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker 8/10 I liked it better than The Last Jedi, but I still felt like it fell just a little short of my expectations.
  8. Jumanji The Next Level 8/10 Pretty decent sequel. Some of the twists felt a little overly contrived, but it was still fun to watch.
  9. If you want to go real old school, The Dog of Flanders. Just be sure to have a box tissues, or several, handy. I'll also add Astroboy, Junkers Come Here, Millennium Actress, Oblivion Island Haruka & the Magic Mirror, and When Marnie Was There
  10. Well, at least there weren't any interesting mega deals this week, so I didn't add any to the damage I just took, but I had to grab Persona 4 the Golden, season 3 of Wagnaria, and the complete Yuki Yuna set. Some Funi limited edition mega deals could get me to bite again, but that should get most of the pain out of the way for me.
  11. Lost City of Z 9/10 Knives Out 10/10 (Best murder mystery movie I've seen in a long time. Incredible cast, excellent plot, and Daniel Craig's southern accent... It was all just very fun to watch.)
  12. That's my approach to the holiday shopping season now... Just get the pain over with as quickly as possible. Agonizing over whether to splurge or not, when you know you're too weak to resist and are eventually going to sucuumb anyway just makes it worse. I think I already spent about $200 in the last two days, and I haven't even placed an order with Right Stuf yet, which when I do tomorrow will probably be like another $200. 😥
  13. 😶 This is why I'm thankful I have such a poor memory that I can't recall what the heck I paid for most stuff anymore: cuz if it was otherwise like you said, my heart would have likely shriveled to the size of a raisin by now.
  14. I blew a ton on last year's Sentai sale, so didn't have many things left from them that I wanted, but there was just enough for me to get over the free shipping threshold to make an order. There's a few Aniplex titles I'm going to grab from Right Stuf, but I'm holding back to see if any Mega Deals come along to tempt me.
  15. Hellboy (reboot) 5/10 (I like the original two way better, but it was still okay.) X-Men Dark Phoenix 3/10 (Not as bad as I thought it would be, but given how it bombed at the box office and I expected it would be a complete train wreck, heh heh sorta like the one in the movie, that's not saying much. Glad Marvel's got the rights back now at least and that the next X-Men movie will be coming from them.) MIB International 8/10 Pokemon Detective Pikachu 9/10 (Not a pokemon fan, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.) Frozen II 10/10 (I liked the original, but wasn't nearly as crazy about it as lot of other folks seem to be, but I loved this one. Was definitely worth the wait.)
  16. Abominable 10/10 That was pretty amazing. Just loved it.
  17. I hope they don't reveal it to everybody too soon. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Rob and Sandra secretly whispering to each other their reactions at tribal council. "Was it this hard for you?" ... "No." LOL
  18. Yeah, that drives me crazy. There's really no good reason for it, other than sheer laziness to not include the option in the menu. I always watch stuff with the subtitles or captions on, even with English language TV shows or movies to be able to follow the dialogue better. I personaly don't have any problem reading and hearing at the same time, so I find it helps me not miss anything being said. With anime it's a little different obviously, but I find it still helps me figure out parts of the dub dialogue that are difficult to make out some times, but I mainly do it to compare the translations. I think dubs for the most part are pretty decent nowadays though at not changing much of anything too drastically, but there's some older ones that were pretty awful. The ones that always leap to my mind are Guin Saga and the second season of Those Who Hunt Elves.
  19. That's exactly what I mean. It's clearly not meant to fix anything. Feels more like what they did to the old forum, where they screwed it up so badly that nobody seemed to care all that much anymore when they finally pulled the plug on it all together.
  20. WTH! I don't follow the schdule and ratings like I used to, so this caught me by total surprise right now when I checked my cable guide. But they Moribitoed MHA! Seriously? I thought this show was the closest thing to mainstream the block had besides DB Super. Unbelievable. On the bright side, I guess I didn't miss the episode like I thought I did, but damn. Thank goodness I've got On Demand. A move like this seriously makes me think they're planning on deep sixing the whole block in the near future. Wouldn't be surpised now if it happens when DB Super is over.
  21. Another holiday, another holiday sale emptying my wallet. Sentai shop again. Prices are only about a dollar or two off from the winter holiday sale on most regular stuff, and quite a bit better actually on a lot of the premium editions. Well, at least this time I pretty much cleared off just about everything they got left that I want from them, so they shouldn't be able to hurt me much for a long while to come. New on order: Captain Earth collections 1 & 2, Celestial Method, Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth, Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat, Invaders of the Rokujyoma, Little Busters season 1 set 1, EX & Refrain, Love Election & Chocolate, Love Lab, Made in Abyss premium, Polyphonica Crimson S, Problem Children Are Coming..., Tamako Market, Tari Tari, Ushio & Tora premium, Waiting in the Summer, When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace, When They Cry complete collection, Windy Tales, Wolf Girl & Black Prince, and The World is Still Beautiful
