  1. Oh, well it's a Nickelodeon show so it wouldn't be on Disney Plus, but I would think Hulu would have it.
  2. Shadow in the Clouds 9/10 (Terror in the skies! Kind of a fairly simple idea, but this one really impressed me.) Monster Hunter 8/10 (Milla Jovovich still kicking butt after all these years. Never played the game, but adaptation made for pretty good action flick.) Raya and the Last Dragon 8/10 (Didn't quite wow me like I thought it would, but still pretty solidly entertaining.) Tom & Jerry 7/10 Scoob 7/10 Greenland 5/10 Chaos Walking 4/10 (Waste of a somewhat interesting premise.) Spark a Space Tail 3/10 Pretty in Pink 8/10 (Don't know how I went this long with never seeing this before.) Mannequin 8/10 (Another cool 80's flick I never saw before somehow.) Mannequin 2 6/10 Happy Gilmore 7/10
  3. Fully vaxed for a little over a month now, never tested, with Moderna.
  4. If you like Muppets, you should check out The Barbarian and the Troll.
  5. Of course, how could an anime about inventing not include an explanation about how to make what's considered one of Japan's greatest inventions. That being of course instant noodles.
  6. Just got done watching the Battlestar Galactica series. The newer one from 2004. Was pretty good. About halfway through I thought it was going to wind up a mess, there were so many things that were going unexplained, but it ended pretty well filling in most of the blanks and The Plan movie helped answer the few questions I was still left with.
  7. We're not dead. This is just a living hell we find ourselves in here. Totally different things. Again... this is a dead board people.
  8. I really want to see this, but I'll wait till I don't have pay for it. I'm not comfortable enough paying to go see it on the big screen yet (just got my first shot the other day) and I'm not paying money to sit and watch it at home. Based on the commercial spots I've seen for it, I'm a bit underwhelmed anyway. That and I guess somehow I just don't think it'll feel like Mortal Kombat without Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa saying
  9. I agree. I'd like to see it remade and the story finished. I actually kind of liked the movie though. I thought it was decent, but I've never read the books and know nothing of the source material really.
  10. Wonder Woman 1984 9/10 Not quite as epic I felt as the first movie, but it had it's moments and was still pretty solid I thought. Also, the short little cameo scene during the end credits was a delight.
  11. Ha ha ha! OMG I can't believe I was actually sort of right last week about his empty head giving him a way to get the drop on Giovanni. That was hilarious. He still managed to bug out though. ::rimshot:: so guess they'll have to swat him down for good the next time.
  12. Uh yes, exactly. Fiction is not a lie. Fiction is just something based on imagination and not reality. Lying is telling somebody something you don't believe is true actually is. It's a conscious effort to spread misinformation. By your logic J.K. Rowling and every sci-fi/fantasy writer are serial liars for daring to commit the act of simply putting pen to paper to try and entertain people.
  13. I thought you were maybe just joking before, but do you really not understand what a lie is and that you're comparing apples and oranges here? A lie has the intention to deceive. Someone writing a fiction novel or something like that does so with the intent to entertain, not to deceive and get people to believe what they are saying is true. Kind of a big difference.
  14. Yes, because fiction writers make it a point to preface to their readers that their works are all 100% the truth and people ought to believe and follow what they say to save their eternal souls.
  15. I just hate lies and liars, and religion as I see it is all based on feeding people made up stories to try and get them to behave according to the rules and beliefs of its leaders. Its purpose is basically the same as government, but it lacks direct power to enforce people to adhere to its tenets nowadays, so it relies upon instilling guilt over bad behavior and fear of punishment in the hereafter to try and influence people's behavior and get them to conform to whatever the desired norm is.
  16. Heh, even if Giovani can read what's inside people's minds now, it won't help him against Arthur, since you know... there's nothing there.
  17. Love and Monsters 9/10 Very similar to Zombieland, only mutated insect/animal monsters instead of the undead. At first I thought it was gonna be a sort of weak ripoff at best, but it wound up being pretty damn good. Even if it wasn't, I probably would have watched it anyway just cuz it has an appearance by Michael Rooker in it.
  18. Still my favorite, and probably always will be. I liked Enterprise, too, and agree it was underrated. Voyage is probably my least favorite of all the TV series, though it got better in the later seasons. As for the movies, the rule as I remember it is pretty much all the even numbered ones were good, the odd numbered ones not so much.
  19. Watched some of The Watch. Are all british sci-fi shows this wacky? I never got in to Dr. Who. Just didn't seem like something I'd like, but so far I'm enjoying this one. The Grim Reaper character is hysterical. I just hope he keeps making appearances.
  20. Finished Heroes Reborn. Pretty meh. Can see why it didn't continue any further. Even though they did eventually work in more of the original series characters, they were probably doomed from the start with not being to get back the actors for Sylar and Peter. That and the plot was pretty ridiculous.
