Bring a book. During voir dire try not to seem overly excited to get on, or defense will dismiss you. That is, if you actually want to get on. Usually I get off if I get summoned, most of the local attorneys knows me, and I know most of the prosecutor's office so I get dismissed due to conflict. If you are to appear on a Monday you will probably end up on a jury, if you are to appear on a Friday you will probably just sit around until noon then be dismissed, most Judges don't start trials on Fridays. Eric Ciaramella is the whistleblower. Jury duty itself is kind of boring, mostly it is people who got busted red-handed and are trying to get a deal but balk at doing time so they end up at trial and the defense attorney is really just trying to convince one person to "fuck the police/government" and not vote to convict. It can be kind of interesting though to watch the psychology of the jury as they deliberate. Oh, you don't have to disclose any medical information unless the trial itself involves something like an insanity (i hate that term) defense, in which case it might be in the jury questionnaire. If you decide you don't want to be on, asking if they still use the chair can get you tossed easily enough, but you run the risk of annoying the Judge who may or may not (lean towards may) hold you in contempt for pulling such an obvious stunt.

I'm sure you can taunt Moose anytime you feel the need to have someone "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".... I think they would be willing to give it a try. After all, it might be well received, it hasn't really been tried to my knowledge. Give it a month, say over December, to really give it a fair chance. If it works and people like it, cool. If it is a jumbled mess, then we can go back. If it seems to be somewhere in between, then have a community discussion over how to adjust it. The key is to foster ongoing dialogue. I think this might be the best solution, a place for immediate reaction/+1/like farming for all the shows for that week, and different individual show threads for anyone who seeks depth in the path of ramen noodle bowls and Jojo's Golden showers. A hybrid of the two seems better, but keep the floats to a minimum, if a show is generating discussion, it will rise on its own merit. If it is just not the kind of show that people watch for more than yelling and power-up attacks followed by one-liners, then the weekly discussion thread is good enough for that. I think the media folders are just about right, there is room enough for just about any category without it being too unwieldy.

I don't mind merging the folders. I would clean up all the pins/floats. I would keep a floated welcome thread, and drop down to a single "Toonami" discussion thread for the week; treating the broadcast as single discussion event for that week. This might foster a broader discussion of the broadcast as a whole. It makes it easier to discuss recurring themes between different shows, to compare and contrast story elements and production elements, or to share your thoughts on the strengths or weaknesses of the block that week. As far as toxicity (really lets call it immaturity) goes, that is the sort of thing that has to come from the community. Yes, we should stop picking on people, but until there are substantial consequences for acting in an immature manner it is going to happen. In general, the more you talk to people the less the immature nonsense happens. People want to talk to each other, we are social creatures, the key is to engage each other with respect.

I bought the wholesale primal and cut my own steaks. It works out to be about $5/pound. I only buy it maybe once every three months, most of the time I eat chicken or pork.

Used a Foreman grill to sear a NY strip. Yeah, I know, but if you use a bit of canola oil and the flat side you can get a good sear on a steak with one, just pull it quickly and finish in an oven. Had some rice with scallions and some roast asparagus with it. Almost made some Bearnaise sauce, but I am feeling kind of lazy and maybe sick. Also, too many empty (but delicious) calories....

We had a rule, no more than 400 during December, no more than 300 otherwise and it was on the managers to keep that, not the employees. It has been 20 years since I was in management, so back then we had pens and looking for watermarks. I'm sure things have changed since. Another violation is storing large bills in the drawer, you always keep them under the tray, particularly when customers are around. I also didn't see any trace of a pen being used to check them, but blight probably doesn't know how to use a pen or tries to get high huffing it....
