I've been having this attitude more than usual lately.

I don't personally know too many people who like the show. Though admittedly I'm a bit biased, since I was in a science major, and it seems that most people in science majors tend to hate the show.

Pretty much this. Turning lead into gold is possible but is widely cost inefficient. And even if it could be done cost effectively, all that would do is drive the price of gold down significantly, at which point it would no longer be worth it. The price of lead would probably go up, though. But don't quote me on that; I know chemistry, not economics. Speaking of which, I graduated undergrad last Saturday, so I guess I'm just a chemist now.

And once again Toonami stuns us with a brilliant decision. Perhaps they are just holding it for FLCL, but in all honesty I would have much rather preferred Toonami lose 11:00 PM with the end of Jack. It gives me more time to do stuff before Toonami.

My faith in humanity's continued existence faded when I realized that there are people who genuinely enjoy the Big Bang Theory, so the fact that Akame ga Kill got good ratings is the least of my concerns.

As annoying as the marathons can be, they're a better option than, say, a movie every holiday, which would just be wasting money at that point. That being said, I'd like to see a movie again every once and a while.

I love that intro. I'm excited for this. It's time that Lupin got a turn on Toonami.

I can dig HOTD. I've been meaning to watch DanMachi, too, so on the off chance that it somehow comes to Toonami I'd dig that as well.

Out of all three of those the first pick you posted is the hottest, so I'll be expecting fan art of that to appear in the Female Hottness Thread soon enough.

I'll agree that the romance was definitely built up, and I'm glad they actually did it, but I wasn't particularly a fan of the "middle school crush" way they were acting. Admittedly I can see it making sense in context (both Jack and Ashi have been training since childhood just to fight, so there really wasn't much in the way of time for social interaction), but I still found it sort of annoying. I did enjoy the Dean Martin cameo, though. Makes me wonder if Genndy has a thing for the Rat Pack.

I can see definitely see a rerun for Jack in the future, though without a doubt it wouldn't be at the top of the lineup. Outside of Toonami is a possibility, but I think it's more likely to rerun within the block. Given that 11 PM is almost certainly leaving after Jack ends, this begs the question: will Toonami be reduced to 11:30 to 3:30, or will the entire block just be pushed back by 30 minutes to make it 11:30 to 4:00? I think points can be made for both. If the latter occurs, SJ will almost certainly be rerun, either in the 3:30 slot, or maybe in the 3:00 or 2:30 slot, if they wanted to mix the lineup up. I doubt it would air earlier than that. If the former occurs, then they'll probably air SJ whenever they get the next chance to.

The problem with the way Goku is acting in Super isn't that he's a dick, it's that he WASN'T a dick. If Goku had been established in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z as someone who really only cared about fighting and nothing else, then there wouldn't be a problem. But the thing is, he wasn't like that. Goku definitely cared about fighting in those two, but he was still essentially a guy who cared about his friends and family, and wanted to protect them. Hell, I mean his rage over Krillin's death was the reason he went Super Saiyan in the first place. That isn't the same kind of Goku that's in Super, and that's the problem I have.

This is what I was afraid of. However, since the weak link here appears to be the Dragon Ball Super rerun, I imagine that Adult Swim will most likely try to do something with that first before adjusting the rest of the block.
