Thank you. I mean I'm mad, but not mad, you know? I'm mad that it happened, but I'm not mad because it's part of the game. Plus, as much as I hate to say it, I wasn't expecting us to do a whole coming into this season so to see us in playoff contention coming into today's game was definitely a great feeling, especially despite all the injuries we've had. So...even if we don't win another game this season, I'm calling it a successful one due to my initial expecations being completely blown out of the water. -

I saw that, too. (And yes, that was definitely roughing the passer on Will Anderson, Jr.) To be honest, I don't think it's just our two respective teams. I think it's leaguewide. Of course, I'm only speaking for myself. I won't speak for anybody else. By the way, I'm not blaming our impending loss on bad officiating. Y'all clearly outplayed us and deserve the win. Congratulations, pooh! -

Oh, that could've been a penalty against us for a low hit on Zach Wilson. Guess the refs decided our guy was knocked into him? I don't even know anymore. Seriously, the officiating in some of these games has been abysmal this season. -

Can we both agree that we both lose no matter who ends up winning this game? -

Oh! "Throw ass" is twerking! Okay. lol I should've known it had something to do with that. Also, nice joke! lol (And in the off chance that you're also being serious with your inquiry, each bag is 5.35 ounces, or 152 grams for those who prefer metric.)

Happy Chanukah to my Jewish friends!

Wait. What? O_o On topic: I just discovered this flavor of Big Sunflower Seeds and they are awesome!

I don't know why, but I'm in such a Debussy mood today. I like that, really.

I'd feel the same way if they made a game with their version of Galveston and Houston and the surrounding areas. That would be spectacular.

Nonno's, from the crew behind Nobie's, is mastering Chicago tavern pie (Story via Houston Chronicle's website.) Just months after opening, a Houston pizzeria is already earning national accolades. On Tuesday, Esquire unveiled its 2023 list of the Best New Restaurants in America. The list includes 50 restaurants plus three "special category" entries. Among those three is a fresh face in the Houston pizza scene: Nonno's Family Pizza Tavern. Nonno's in Montrose, named Esquire's "Pizza Joint of the Year," has quickly garnered fans throughout the city. The 90s-themed joint that opened in August comes from Sara and Martin Stayer, the minds behind Montrose's Nobies and The Toasted Coconut. With its old-school Pizza Hut lamps and arcade games, Nonno's won over Esquire with good vibes and an even better menu featuring thin crust, Chicago-style tavern pizza. Pie classics like cheese are of course offered, but Nonno's also puts a fresh spin on traditional favorites. Try the Meat Head, which is Nonno's take on a "meat lovers" pizza that stacks cheese, pepperoni, sausage and capicola. Or go for the Hawaiian-themed Maui Wowee, which pairs pineapple with smoked jalapeño and Spam. Want something lighter? Try the Broccoli Garlic, which features marinated broccoli, garlic butter and ricotta; or the Lean Green 'N Mean, which has pesto, kale, arugula and sunflower seeds. If pizza isn't your game, Nonno's does offer cheffed-up entrees like mussels and chicken piccata, as well as cacio e pepe and mushroom risotto. "Nonno's in Houston evokes the retro pizza parlors of my youth, Pac-Man and all, but the pizza is much, much better," wrote Omar Mamoon in the Esquire writeup. When reached by Chron, Sara Stayer said her team was shocked to learn the news of the honor. "We are so proud and thankful for all of the work that everyone has contributed to make Nonno's what it is," she said. "We're having a blast, and we couldn't do it without our wonderful team." Meanwhile, the main top-50 list included Austin newcomer Este. Esquire praised chef Fermín Nuñez's seafood-focused restaurant (which in Spanish means "this") for being "all things marisco." Este also prides itself on its own garden, called Este Garden, in which the restaurant plants wild flowers and sustainable vegetables. The vegetables grown in the garden supply both Este and Nuñez's first restaurant, Suerte. Este recently celebrated its one-year anniversary after opening in October 2022. ----------------------------------- I've yet to try it but it looks to be good. Also, don't shoot the messenger. Thanks.

So it's two current and future B1G vs. two current and future SEC teams. Yay? More like Florida State got screwed.

As someone who was forced to endure the first two seasons of it due to my ex-wife wanting to watch it with her parents at the time, I can tell you I had the same thoughts as well. Thank God I can go back to watching the stuff I love without having to "sneak around". God, that marriage was toxic a f.
