Saiki certainly seemed determined to see that they played out. The last story with Mera was a bit too tragic for me to find funny really though oddly enough. Massive crippling poverty ain't no joke. I guess it's nice Saiki helped her in the end but I dunno. And of course the most tragic thing of all: the end of Kochikame! Not in a satisfying fashion, but about as well as such an idiotic and unnecessary plot point could I guess. Tsutsui himself kind of annoyed me with his whole "I haven't made an effort to be social so it's my fault people believe I'm a pedophile." garbage, but that kinda played into the argument he had with Igarashi about his inferiority complex in the second half. Or maybe it wasn't about that since she told him he missed the point and I'm as dumbfounded as he is regarding that atm. What I do know is Ayado is a cute and welcomed addition to the cast. I hope she doesn't become another Arisa who I liked at first and now find obnoxious. I've also realized about 90% of the kids at their school are total assholes which, while annoying, is sadly realistic I suppose. Still my enjoyment of this has definitely waned over the last two episodes. Hopefully it'll recover as I don't plan on dropping it. At least not yet. We watched the movie in the anime club to close out the year, but we had to leave before pretty much the entire climax (a.k.a. where they play games with actual stakes), which arguably rendered it meaningless. Yes, the robot loli scenes were hilarious for all the wrong reasons, but still. I'm not counting it until I can watch the whole movie, hopefully with a dub. Toji no Miko 17 Wait, did they just say Yukari was 17 still appearance-wise? The woman who never looked younger than 25 or 30? Bullshit. Anyway a boring exposition dump episode. It reminded me of how confused I was for so long back in the early episodes about if Yukari was just possessed or not, boy was that made unnecessarily vague in retrospect. Honestly I think the lack of best-girl Mai and Ellen with her big, beautiful tits hurt the episode. They're easily the best two characters. Also don't give a crap about that new girl at the school who became part of the aradama army at the end there. Though considering her prominence in the op and ed the show clearly wants me to. And how nice of Saiki to help him find her a birthday present. 100-Yen Man was definitely the highlight of this week though. Loved his bit with Grandpa. The secret base seemed cool too, but no match for Saiki's beetle weakness. Next week: Teruhashi envying Aiura's big, beautiful tits? This should be good. Sugimoto's escape, Hijikata's slaughter and Shinpachi's introduction, Asirpa's love for osoma, some deer-related folklore, and Tanigaki's return. Looks like Retar might be in trouble! This series manages to pack so many things in such a short time period really well. I'm glad that at least has transferred over to the adaptation so far. Too bad Iori's ice cream bloodlust was too much for the school swimsuit advantage to overcome! Lupin III: Part V 6 3D Kanojo: Real Girl 6 Well Tsutsui was put through the wringer with both of his primary relationships this week. But he made it out alright, until the unexpected consequences of his new friendship with Ayano at the end anyway, but more on that in a sec. The flashback with Ito was nice, though it reinforced my notion from last week that the vast majority of people in this series are scumbags. This week it was the bullies. Meanwhile, Igarashi was upset Tsutsui didn't trust her. I guess that makes sense, but she didn't seem bothered by it when he jumped to the wrong conclusion with her doctor, unless I'm remembering that wrong. Maybe enough time passed since then in-universe for his insecurity to now upset her, but from an outsider perspective that was only like 2 or 3 episodes ago so it feels a bit contradictory. To me anyway, but whatever. Not sure what to make of their physical contact scene but I didn't think she was upset by it or anything, but who knows? Are we heading now down the path of Igarashi being the jealous/insecure one after seeing Tsutsui with Ayado? Who knew potatoes could cause so much drama?
