Oh, I did search one of the people's names and found his obituary. He died last year and was only 43. He struggled with addiction.

It does work precisely that way when the accident is caused by either the bus driver's mistakes or when some dumb wobble ass rams the bus with her Escalade because she was watching a video instead of the road.  Me?  I'm just a passenger on the bus and I'm not responsible for anything a driver ends up doing.

And is your experience as a passenger on a bus relevant? I said 3 tons of steel, the weight of a standard SUV. A public bus weighs a lot more than that.

What about when a car jumps the curb and hits you, but because of your giant clothing stolen from daddy, and Skagen watch they instead just say you're a vagrant that wandered into the street because you were hit by the DA's underage alcoholic son, and they won't sully his future for the jackass with dave and busters flair on his cap that flew 32 yards

Vagrants don't have addresses, ID, Bank accounts or lawyers who accept contingency cases.  Also, every accident requires a sobriety check and that gets entered into the official accident report.  The DA's kid is just out of luck.
