Jman Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 You mean people weren't banging down the door for Rob Scheinder's Bluey knockoff? Huh. 2 Quote

Please die in a very public and horrifyingly funny but appropriate way. Ex. an exploding buttplug with a 'tesla' sticker on it shaped like Drumpf. 3 Quote

So basically batshit crazy 'conservative' friendly news/opinions [ mostly opinions ] slapped into a new media coat and/or podcast so he can masturbate to the sound of his own voice. 2 Quote

I knew who Ben Shaprio was because he seems to be everywhere. I've heard of the Daily Wire, I just wasn't aware that it was this big thing. I guess they even got into the movie production business? I guess if it goes out of business he has the usual options like Fox, OAN, NewsMax, begging for money on Twitter, begging for money for his Patreon on YouTube, getting paid by College Republicans to incite riots on university campuses, etc., etc. 1 Quote

Ben Shapiro and friends wanted to make a media company that was explicitly anti-woke, basically the political equivalent of faith based media companies like Angel Studios. The problem is most of the people who bitch about politics in media don’t want politics from the other side in media, they either want the politics gone or with more nuance so it doesn’t feel like a lecture. So they came in with an extremely small audience who brushed off shows like “Mr. Birchum” (Sp?) a show that was trying to be King of the Hill with absolutely none of the charm, likable characters, or warmth, and the aforementioned ChinChila, a blatant knockoff of Bluey starring Rob Schneider. And clearly it didn’t work. 1 Quote
