The stat line for this game is bonkers.

Mayfield  had 180 yards and they almost won.

Cousins had 509 yards and they nearly lost.

Kirk is now the season passing leader with those insane numbers. He’ll get eclipsed early on Sunday, but he was in 14th place before this game, behind such luminaries as Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew.

Just the wonkiest shit I’ve seen in a while.

Did the Broncos make a hype video for our throwback jerseys this weekend?

Yes, yes we did.

Broncos are fully embracing the throwback weekend. The Broncos app has been updated to have retro themes. Field is painted like its the 80s. They said the music will be more of a live-band throw back thing this weekend.

I cannot wait to see how this goes.

@1pooh4u, I want to apologize for how I acted earlier in the week. I only said what I said because Denver is supposed to be rebuilding this year and they held your Jets to less than 10 points. In other words, it was meant to be silly trash talk. In all seriousness, the Jets had a bad game, and in this league, bad games happen. Trust me, I know better than anyone. And, I absolutely agree that the Texans defense needs to be much, much better going forward. Hopefully, that starts today against Buffalo, though something tells me penalties are going to be our Achilles' heel yet again.

Good luck the rest of the game against the Vikings. Besides, I like Aaron Rodgers as a QB, and I really hated seeing him go down with an injury just minutes into the season opener last season. I hope he has the best season ever. (Just not against us. You understand though.)

I'm more interested in Saint/Chief's tomorrow.

Yeah....sometimes I pose as a Saints fan when I specifically want another team to lose

I think we all pose as fans of other teams when they're playing division rivals or even teams that people love to hate.

The Bills tied it up after a forced fumble by the defense, but we found a way to win. Ka'imi Fairbairn with the 59-yard game-winning-field goal to win the game in front of the home crowd!

Buffalo Bills - 20
Houston Texans - 23

By the way, the last time Buffalo won in Houston against the Texans, Nov. 19, 2006, David Carr was still the quarterback for Houston.

Whenever I see an LA team’s “fan base” I always think it’s so nice for the NFL to put teams out there for fans of other teams to watch while they’re on vacation.

Reminder that Dean Spanos made the choice of having the Chargers be a franchise that gets to live in someone else's basement.

I can’t deal with NFL anxiety anymore period. Me and my other half are like out of our minds, pacing the living room. He literally made himself sick. Between the atrocious game play and the theft of what now appears to be 2 pounds wet weight, from our plants, he literally got sick from it ☹️

What in the world is going on with all these kickers who can make 50-yard field goals like it's almost a chip shot? Good Lord Almighty!

I'm not necessarily complaining because Fairbairn made one from fifty yards to win us the game against the Bills, but goodness gracious. It's almost as if they're more athletic than in years past and therefore able to generate more power as a result. Why do I say that? Well, Charles Davis brought it up during the game today. He thinks kickers nowadays are able to nail field goals that are fifty yards or longer because kickers are more athletic, as in they played different sports while they were younger as well as even playing different positions before switching to being a full-time kicker. I don't know if he's on to something, but that would potentially explain it. Good grief!

Omfg THANK YOU!  I’m like “why is no one talking about 60 yard FGs getting made like nothing?”  It’s crazy. Not Zuerlein though. He’s a d bag

That’s me.  I won’t watch USC away games because it makes me sick, win or lose.

Usually I find something to do when the jets start playing stupid, but it’s such a common occurrence I ran out of things to do 🫠

You're welcome. And I was mistaken. Fairbairn didn't make it from fifty. He made it from FIFTY-NINE! Again, great for me since it was for my Texans, but still, guys like him, Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey, and Ravens kicker Justin Tucker are making them like they're nothing, and we're not talking about making them in Denver either. Fairbairn made it at NRG Stadium in Houston, which sits at only fifty feet above sea level! I'm not joking when I say this: It looked like he could've made that thing from sixty-five yards. He had that much room to spare. (His career long is 61 yards so that might be a bit of a stretch, but not by much.)

I'm serious. Somebody needs to do a study on this. This whole thing is nuts!

Caleb Williams is who Bears Fans hoped he was.

My family from up north that enjoy the Chicago team for football season are in town.

I want to say Caleb looked great today, but DJ Moore made it look like a damn 1st grader could be QB

Meanwhile We got Jordan Love doing his weird "hook shot straight to the LB on the 2 yard line to dodge a safety" thing, still

I’m super happy DJ is on my fantasy team.
