I know this is not the mainstream in American politics but God damn why is it being part of American politics.  Monarchism is the most anti-American thing I can think of,  for Americans  you know it does for the record I know that there are a lot of markers monarchies that are American allies the UK , Japan, Canada Australia New Zealand in the Neverlands ,Denmark  are constitutional monarchies and many more absolute and constitutional monarchies that are officially allied or friendly to the US

 

some of them who are monarchists or who have  monarchies views are also very prejudicial to different religions

for different denominations of said religion

Not really.  I mean, monarchists would be one of many fringe groups that don't have any political impact because of the incompatibility of their political beliefs with reality.

Yeah, but fringe political beliefs are still dangerous.  They might not get power right away but they will eventually try or do something drastic like shoot  elected  official

@scoobdog @[classic swim]    whatever you know I'm not saying I'm in the right or wrong I'm the same it is incompatible with American political beliefs although a lot of Americans are fascinated with royalty.

Or at all?  There is literally no function for an absolute or constitutional monarch in our current system, or, in fact, through most of the industrial world.  If you're worried about a one person gaining absolute power, there are other avenues that actually exist within a republican system where a political strongman can consolidate power.  Even in banana republics, strongmen who gain power through military might (kings were derivative of prestate warlords) rarely crown themselves as monarchs because political systems are no longer built around a centralized position.

I'm just saying there's a few people who are with radical views that are dangerous and they're willing to do anything to gain power

Ghostie keeps prodding people to discuss this topic when people clearly don't want to, including bumping when no one replied to it and begging for people to post in it. It's really annoying, he's done this multiple times, and he is the only one in our whole e-community who does this. Take the hint ghostie. You're not going to die if you post a thread with no replies. It happens to all of us at some point.

Also I just came from ranting in an "unpopular opinions thread" on a different board I frequent so maybe I haven't gotten off "you know what really grinds my gears" mode yet, lol.

I watched it from conception....he literally made this thread when it was me, him and namak....I can't spell his name rn but we were the only 3 people online...exactly 13 minutes later, he bumped it. My instinct was to say "damn bro, it's 3 people here and one of them is me....do you really want this reply" but I decided against it.

But without going off on a tirade here that'll get me actioned, you're absolutely right.

The really sad thing is if he wanted to talk about it THAT badly then fucking use the comment sections of the fucking videos you're referencing in the first fucking place. People actually want to discuss it there, and there are zillions more eyeballs reading those yt comments than reading this board at any given time.
