I find weekends off a bit overrated. Personally I prefer to be off on Sunday and have a day off during week. I think it's best to have an off day during a weekday for appointments other things that can only be done during weekdays/

What's better is having the full two day "weekend" on weekdays, for the same reason you just mentioned.

A couple of things about Metallica...

1. S&M is a terrible live album. I'm sure it was a good idea on paper but it's easily one of the worst live albums I've ever listened to.

2. Metallica live sucks. It's not because they sound bad it's they have this annoying habit of getting fans to sing along to damn near all their songs. It's one thing to get fans to sing along to their more popular songs but it's a whole another thing to get fans to sing along to deep album cuts like Motorbreath, Four Horsemen, And Justice For All. And not just sing a verse or two but damn near the whole song. Imagine paying money for a concert and you're doing most of the singing. And it's cringe listening to fans not know the lyrics.

Rage Against the Machine was also guilty of this so it's not just Metallica.

At least Rage is actually trying to rally their fans around a cause.  Metallica hasn’t had a cause since…. ….And Justice.

Who knew losing a Grammy to Jethro Tull would change the course of history.

As for Rage, cause or not you're shit live you're going to hear about it.

Rage really isn’t worth seeing live unless you’re already teed up and yelling at some jerkoff you met like ten minutes ago seems like a great way to spend a Saturday night.  My buddy from ‘SC is a huge Rage fan and he yells at the stereo every time they play.

I can understand this gripe for live ALBUMS, but I saw Metallica live on the St. Anger tour and it was in my top 3 concerts ever.

Dark Side Of The Moon is pretty good, but overrated af.

I'd go with the Wall too long and too boring. The only saving grace is Comfortably Numb is on there.
