Native Americans used to “clean” the forest and do control burns. I grew up doing controlled burns. You picked your battles and did the burns when it was possible to control it. But you didn't do an entire forest and you didn't drop a match when it was already bone dry. I still think the orange fart-patty should go out and rake a forest. Minnesota is sending people, North Dakota would too if the republicans weren't more concerned with being show turtles on the Mexican border. That might change if the fires push the Canadian feral hog herds across the border [ which, yes is a thing now and they destroy everything they come to ].
