OwlChemist81 Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 Oh, all you monkey asses are really screwed now!! MEET HULK SPEAR!!! 1
OwlChemist81 Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 It's a good thing Jekyll and Hyde have this concept in the public domain, or else Marvel might sue!! 1
CorbeauKarasu Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 (edited) i really liked 2008's The Incredibe Hulk with Ed Norton, but after a while the final battle got kinda boring. i wish it'd been more like this Edited June 12, 2022 by CorbeauKarasu 1
OwlChemist81 Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 Brutal and sad. Oh well; on to the final episode of Assassination Classroom!!
Nablonsky Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 I love the episode where spear and fang learn about germs and zombies as they avoid succumbing to the plague of madness. Nightmare monster. 1
Blatch Posted June 16, 2022 Author Posted June 16, 2022 I wasn't intending to post in this thread every week, but I feel obligated to check in now and then. I loved this week's episode, though a big part of that was that it appeased the guro fan in me. I feel like it's Genndy's way of getting back after so many episodes of Samurai Jack featured robots getting brutally beaten and destroyed, and even the final season not having much in terms of graphic violence. This episode was detailed enough as to be gross, and maybe worthy of a content warning before the episode ("real American cowboys" and all), but it was also compelling and even beautiful. The first half of it was so peaceful and free of action that I figured there had to be a catch. Of course, the MAV rating this episode got gave it away (would it be possible for them to hide an episode's rating every so often, or even lie and change it within the episode?), and on top of that, this episode totally earned that rating. And here I thought S&P was starting to phone it in. In short, I'm looking forward to what adventures Spear and Fang are going to experience in the season's second half. 2
CorbeauKarasu Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 really loved this episode. though i imagine i'm not alone there 1

AnimationFan14 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Spear the doctor is impressed with his work 1
DangerMouse Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Fang's up and feasting! Team up wrecking crew! 1
OwlChemist81 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Episode 7: Plague of Madness Damn, that shit acted quickly!!
OwlChemist81 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Well, maybe this is how the dinosaurs REALLY went extinct! Zombie Plague!! 1
saito34 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 I dont think ive ever seen the zombie dinosaur angle prior to Genndy, and i'm not surprised his brilliant mind conceived of it first 2 1
OwlChemist81 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Oddly enough, it seems those bites from the infected brontosaur did not turn the others into zombies. It just killed them.

I think the fact that they can survive in such a hideous state is a pretty cool compromise and just as creepy for some reason 2
