The cigarette taxes were supposed to support the public school system and alleviate property taxes.  I never see that happening.  The money is going into the black hole of corruption.

I'm sure thatl this unlikely candidate's home state would not need a tobacco tax at all if its governor and legislators were more honest.

But, how do we put honest people into such positions?  The same way that we put in the less virtuous, of course - vote them in incrementally, locally, one by one.  A mayor here, a city councilwoman there, a sherriff someplace else and maybe a few forward thinking school board members in your own home town.

Tsar spoke truthfully and with some reasonable assessments.  I didn't have reason to say anything else.  So, I just thanked him and continued running against how many chowder heads in here who can't keep a coherent thought alive long enough to add anything useful to the topic.

When you want to say that taxing universities is a bad idea, at least take Tsar's approach and show a happy alternative to it instead of trying to turn the whole subject in thirty eight tangents or non sequiturs.
