I've lived in tornado alley for years, and even chased the things a few times to improve my odds. Still nothing.. Good luck.

did you ever try tin foil?

Does it have to actually be tin foil, or will aluminum work?

I don't know I've lived in tornado alley almost all of my life and haven't come close to seeing one, don't want to either.

However, when I was under 5 years old I lived in a remote part of Colorado where a tornado was about a mile away from my home, so who knows?

Lived in Florida for 15 years. Trailer parks are tornado magnets.

1 yr and 4 months prior to this image being taken, this poor animal was picked up and carried by a tornado a mile or two.  She was terrified of any storms within 25 mi. thereafter.  We were her 2nd owners.   She wasn't an old dog, but she looks like one - probably suffered from PTSD.
