PhilosipherStoned Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 (edited) The hair follicle test detected marijuana in my system metabolites in my hair so the HR department couldn't follow through on the offer of employment, and I'm done as a temp there. In the end I guess there's no one to blame, but myself for that. Sucks because all my coworkers and the higher ups were looking foward to me being a regular employee. They were all training me for diff positions in different areas, and applauding my hard work as a temp. On the flipside I wasn't even contacted by an MRO from the lab to go over the results hr just informed me right before my shift, and when I talked to them about the subject it was clear they knew very fucking little about what all a hair follicle test actually entails. Vamped Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 I didn't think the actual testing center would call and tell you that you failed. Thats one of my irrational paranoid fears .... I'll get offered the perfect job position and then I'll fail a drug test. I don't even do drugs but I get nervous XD 2

But then I also panic when I get whiffs of it in public and I've been noticing them more and more frequently. Just random clouds of weed. 1

discolé monade Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 did i tell you the time i quit for 45 days. 45 days the problem, i drink about a gallon of water a day anyway.... negative dilute. so yeah...even if i didn't smoke, i'd fail for drinking too much water, apparently. looking @1pooh4u for that jinx. 3

I don't even do drugs but I get nervous XD That actually almost happened to me once. Got a job through a temp agency and the last step before getting placed was a drug test. Despite having never done drugs, my test came back positive for meth use. They tried to just let me go, but I raised enough of a stink that they sent me to Occupational Health for a re-test instead. Less than 2 hours later I was re-tested at Occupational Health, and the results came back completely clean. I wound up getting the job after that. A few months later, I got an apology letter from the temp agency saying they discovered that the location where I was initially tested was reusing parts of their drug test kits without properly cleaning/sterilizing them. Still a champ in my book bahd. I've had it happen, it sucks, but there's plenty of jobs out there. Sucks when you lose a good one, but you'll find another that either won't test hair follicles like dicks, or you'll know enough to clean up next time around the temp-full time switch is near. Like I said I've passed 3 of those this year, and I would've passed that test if it was urinalysis. I probably barely had enough thc metabolites in my hair to test positive on that test.. Drinking water and exercise does absolutely nothing to help you with a hair follicle except maybe to increase the likelyhood of recent use to show up in one.. 1
