if Connie died before she and her husband fucked then that pretty much confirms that the people in the village with brown hair were from new blood

edit: oh wait they did

So, if Senku and dad aren't related, then they must be using the same hair dye.

Which leads to the question, where is Senku getting hair dye?

So I guess Byakuya isn't the genius Senku is.  He didn't try to make medicine.

But with two of them dead, this is even less genetic diversity.

Why hasn't anyone bang17a2034aefb726c3f0624fc78e7164dade2a4df7 Lillian yet?

Somebody clearly had to because Kohaku and Ruri look just like her.

Coming with an army... well they are fucked.  Why the hell did Gen tell Tsukasa about the village?

Agreed though they seemed to gloss over that information this episode

I thought the rest of the backstory would be as detailed as the last episode, but apparently not.

Why wouldn't there be bones?  Human bones way older than that have been found.

Normally bones decay within decades.

Just when I thought this episode didn't already have enough dying featured in it, then this happens

But wasn't everyone on earth fossilized?

You dont think theyre the only ones who avoided it altogether by being in space?

What about people underground or in submarines?

I still feel like there is not enough genetic diversity.  Especially if Connie didn't have any children before she died.  But then we saw dark-haired kids so I dunno.  Did the Russian couple ever come back?

I guess it's an open question if that would cause them to be unaffected. We still dont know the nature of the event.

I'm pretty sure any ancient human bones discovered in modern times had the benefit of natural refrigeration via copious amounts of ice, but definitely could be wrong.

The spinoff manga shows what happened to the ISS and why they needed to keep all that stuff up there.

Some article from either Comic Book dot com or CBR popped up on my phone and spoiled me about that manga, with Senku's dad being in the space station.  But I had no idea how it related to anything or how it went, just that he was in space and trying to come up with a way to rescue humanity.

You think that manga will get animated?  Does it show more of what happened with everyone that got glossed over in this episode?
