isn't hammerspace from 80s/90s anime?

named specifically for anime lead women who'd pull hammers from small cases for comedic violence

If I had the power hammerspace would still be used in cartoons today.

Pretty good and unconventional fight.

He has... a good soul?  What?

This guy is like the polar opposite of Dio...

Take back the city by becoming top mob boss??

Such a quick turn of events!

For that matter, Gio Gio's stand's name (and this arc's name) is also a copyright censor

his stand's real name is

GOLD EXPERIENCE

In reference to Prince's 1995 album

Which contains my current favorite Prince song

If that's true, the copyright issue goes deeper than just the dub, because the part's subtitle in the manga even in Japan is called "Vento Aureo".

the names were all changed even in japanese since they produced this series with the intent to release it overseas

So if the "real" name for the stand is "Gold Experience," where is that used if both the manga and anime use either "Vento Aureo" or "Golden Wind?"

there's also a sequence in a later episode that is SUPPOSED to use this song....but they couldn't get the rights

Fun fact: Kishimoto did some fan art of Giorno for Jojo's 25th anniversary.

If Kishimoto is a fan of Jojo why's he so damn homophobic then?, is the homoeroticism of Jojo just lost on him?
