That kind of colorblindness is super rare, mostly it's just people that can't see a few colors.

You... didn't look into that at all, did you? Enchroma very much, very clearly, explicitly states it offers no benefit to monochromatic vision. Their product helps because those "few colors" people can't see are filtered/separated, so that they can distinguish between the colors that just blend together.

No? I'm actually watching the shows. The header on the video said "helps man see color for the first time" which implies its something that helps people see color who have a rare form of color blindness where they can see absolutely no color. I'll watch the video later.

I didn't share the video. Just said it's worth looking into. My personal favorite was the kid that freaked out over the color purple.

But, most of them typically get the most emotional over the color green, the color of nature. They all turn speechless at the sight, never having known just how vibrant it is. Because the colorblindness just sorta blends it in with surrounding wavelengths. The glasses filter/suppress some of that blended spectrum, mashing down the peaks of wavelengths so that the brain is actually able to interpret a distinction.

Rating: 3.5⭐. Indeed, it was all about science this week, and of course I loved that the problem of nearsightnedness, which I have always had, was so poorly-understood it was looked at as a fuzzy sickness!

Next to the wheel, glass may have been mankind's most useful invention, and this episode did that fact justice!
