Still Me Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 shes new to my store but shes been with the company for like 4 years...but when she started the odor was suddle...but now it's just gotten worse and worse...I've taken to over wearing perfume to try to either cover her stink up or where I can escape her smell by diving into my shirt....I don't know if she just doesn't take care of herself or what...and we all work in this inclosed room....seriously....it's getting really bad and we don't feel comfortable just like telling her "hey...go buy deodorant...maybe shower"....and my boss tries to ignore it but now he's having trouble...
mthor Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Try putting a dab of perfume or scented lotion right under your nose. Vicks works, too, for really intrusive odors.
Still Me Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 oh? I've been eating super minty gum to help over power my senses
Houdini Splicer Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 My dad worked with a guy like that, years ago. They're both mechanics, so they're both going to get hot and sweaty. This guy stunk, he knew he stunk, but he didn't care. My dad would tell him he stunk, but he would just smile, showing his funk-covered teeth. When Christmas came around, my dad both the guy some soap, wash cloths, toothbrush, and toothpaste, and told him not to come in the next day if he didn't use it. He actually washed his stank ass, but, it didn't last long. He finally went to work somewhere else, but summers were really tough around there. I'd advise getting your boss to tell her, in a nice way, that she stinks. If that doesn't work, the coworkers need to say something. You can only put up with crap for so long.

Houdini Splicer Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Have any of the customers complained yet?
Still Me Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 no...but...I wish they would but I don't think they will
Houdini Splicer Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 It's just a matter of time. How long has the funkiness been going on? Weeks? Months?

Houdini Splicer Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I'll be back. I'm just going to get some clothespins. For everyone's noses. Maybe I should have clarified that sooner.

Sieg67 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 what i meant to say was teach that bitch how to BATHE BUT I DON'T KNOW THAT BITCH.
Still Me Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 YOU DONT HAVE TO "KNOW" HER YOU CAN SMELL HER
Distortedreasoning Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 if it's that bad then just bring it up to her. i remember having a few incidents in my past jobs with people that smelled and i always said something. if they still smell bring it up to your supervisor. im sure if its that bad you will have all your coworkers support. i remember we sent home this bad smelling dude and told him to come back when he dont stink.
little_girl_lost Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 put together a gift basket of shampoos, deodorants, pretty smelling soaps, bubble bath/bath bomb put a ribbon on it and present it to her and say "hey its your welcome/X month anniversary basket" and act like everyone gets one and its not a big deal If that doesn't work, strap her to the roof of your car and drive through a car wash
