If I'm remembering right, when I used to work in a "Home Entertainment" dept, Disney would have limited releases of their movies.  I thought they rotated them, but perhaps some never were re-released?  Like maybe "Bambi" never came back out?  I could see if "Fantasia" was high priced, but I don't know that it was ever released on VHS.  I suppose movies that will never be released again, like "Song of the South" would be high priced due to rarity as well.

There are only a couple of Disney VHS that I can think of that might be worth something. There's one about a tour of the entire Disneyland that I think was originally done in the 60's [ ? ] that was released on home video for families to relive the moment. I thought there was a collection video that included a scene from 'Song of the South' which is probably impossible to find [ and I'm not in the googling mood ] . And there is the infamous penis-castle cover of the original release of 'The Little Mermaid' which a college roommate had and it was hilarious.

True. Fantasia was released on VHS. I have it. The highest one I am seeing is 101 Dalmatians. Song of the South is on the list of valuable ones as well. The most common, like Little Mermaid, that are rumored to be high, are really only worth like $20-$50.

That aforementioned place I worked had little kids records.  The cover of "Alice in Wonderland" had a cartoon depiction of all the characters surrounding Alice in the center.  She was holding a cake in front of her crotch with a great big "EAT ME" on the top.

Yes. But I didn't know those were ever censored out. Although, if I'm not mistaken, there were other later edits. Such as the black centaur, Sunflower. Removed to avoid racism controversy.

Yeah.....it's all about the condition you have them in. Man....those suckers get EXPENSIVE.

Curious. Why is that listed for so much when it is also listed for $1.90? How do you know which ones are valuable? I need sources. I have a respectable vhs collection.

The ones for $1.90 are either damaged, visibly used/worn, not original pressings, or tapes with purchased clamshells/re-printed art, or even possible fakes/people who don’t know what they have.
