That being said, when I got my first apartment and lived alone, I bought a new thing of detergent the day before the move and that thing lasted so long I still had it when my lease was up and I went to my new place. I miss the low cost of being single lol

I am admittedly jealous of the fact that you can make laundry detergent last so long. You could do a YouTube video and show people how to cut corners and save, because nothing lasts in our house. I don't own anything too light so everything can run together. Any delicates or stuff like bras get stuffed into the lingerie bag. My sheets, pillowcases, throw blankets, towels, and cloths go together, too. I also never use more than a cup of detergent per load. Nothing special, really.

tsar4
Tide HE Coldwater liquid. Just a few tablespoons per load, nowhere near the indicator on the cap. When we used what the cap indicated, stuff came out soapy & needed another full rinse cycle.
