What this means for our pals Jason DeMarco and Mike Lazzo is anyone’s guess.
OwlChemist81
Probably not much, really. It seems like the WarnerMedia mission statement is very much in tune with the network's current direction. It might even mean MORE programming like Toonami and less like Tropical Cop Tales...
katt_goddess
Current office joke appears to be that [ adult swim ] will be relocating to South Dakota in order to really corner that middle-of-nowhere market before it becomes somewhere.
OwlChemist81
Why South Dakota? Because Colorado seems like it's more up their alley! Except of course for Toonami. Relocate that to Texas because that's where most of the VA's live!

I think it's because there's so much nothing in the Dakotas in general that moving up here in order to set up a more streaming focused business would make more sense. Colder than a Sasquatch's nuts? Stay inside and watch our programs on any device! Hotter than Satan's anus after a chili festival? Stay inside and watch our programs on any device!
OwlChemist81
Plus, at least theoretically, they could paint "Idiot" across all the faces on Mount Rushmore...
3ngag3
If anything, it means that there's a slightly better chance of DC stuff appearing on the block. Granted, most of the good stuff is either a straight movie or on Netflix (Young Justice Season 3), but still, it's something.

I see them taking root in the Corn Palace as more likely.

mochi
also if the restructuring is to maximize efficiency maybe CN's lineup finally won't be 99% TTG! anymore
Jman
I’m wondering what this means for Adult Swim’s more...eccentric creators.

It's because they simply didn't want that amount of workload. ... when I see a reasonable explanation from word of god for something, I do NOT ever buy alternate reasons. ben0119
How did that pass anti-trust laws? AT&T is a provider, and a shitty one at that. We had Cingular which was great, then AT&T took them over and our cellphone service sucks now. They want us to use this stupid booster box because they're too cheap to build or rent a tower in our part of town. Assholes. I can't imagine what their TV and Internet service is like. Glad we don't use them for that. As for what it means for Toonami? TOONAMI IS DYING!

viperxmns
yea I just wish this meant it'd be easier for Toonami to get the new season of Young Justice eventually
