viperxmns Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I had to play that song on my itunes a lot recently
Chapinator_X Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I’m glad it revived the discourse of analyzing what they meant when they said “a chicka cherry cola” 3
Bouvre Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 (edited) I listened to that album on repeat so frequently when I was a kid. Santa Monica, the final track on that album, is still one of my favorite songs of all time. Edited November 6, 2018 by Bouvre

I don't remember a Savage Garden song called Santa Monica, but I remember an Everclear song called Santa Monica. I hate it, always have, the guitar playing is garbage. And it somehow found it's way back onto the radio in recent years.

Tbh I cant get enough of it. Soft, melancholic, but darn lyrically powerful Edited November 8, 2018 by Bouvre 1
Chapinator_X Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 My sister used to loop the Affirmation album on repeat during car trips, so I couldn’t think of a better band to represent the late 90’s to the year 2000 than Savage Garden. 1
Rogue_Alphonse Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 I heard "Last Train Home" on the radio the other day. Instantly cranked it up. 1
