Awesome fanservice, and the first episode ended exactly how I'd like my OKC love triangles to end for guys who steal my girls. Takashi or whatever his name is went full on alpha and then he was like "thot, begone!!" for a brief thirty seconds or so lol. Yeah, seems like a Resident Evil or Night of the Living Dead ripoff, but I'm binging it. Wow and The Anime Network can't show the dubbed version of this? Smh. If I like it enough, I'll get the dub on bluray and rewatch it.

I love how all of the characters fit into a solid range of stereotypes of American HS staff and students. The distant protagonist who has gotten his childhood girlfriend taken because he's boring and standoffish, the insecure fickle HS girlfriend, the perverted 30 year old sociopathic teacher, the potential school shooter otaku who gets bullied all the time, the airheaded nurse who could be working as a nightclub bartender, the egotistical nerdy girl whose world would be shattered if she failed at something, and the stoic female athlete who takes charge of things Solid so far, will binge the last few episodes, HS is 💓 Edited August 15, 2018 by Zenigundam

Zenigundam Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 Final impressions: Found it both funny and edge of the seat entertaining and caught all of the references (Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil 2, Crimson Tide, and... something else that just slipped my mind from that one episode). Anyway, it's too bad that there'll never be a season 2. I think Takashi and Saedo are clearly a perfect match, whereas Rei would be about a 68% OKC match with him and, notwithstanding the childhood promise, they don't get along because she's stupid and should be dating some mindless jock instead of a normal, but good-looking guy like Takashi. Solid show though, I'll give it an 8, could have been way better with more episodes...
