"That's so mean"

VA did such a good job on that line

I was really impressed with the matchups for the English VAs for this series. Most of them are extremely accurate imo.

one interesting thought....are there no Batman-type self made superheroes in this world?

No sure, but as we have already seen many of the heros even in the opening have unique costumes/gadgets to augment or control their abilities. It's not impossible per se, given the evidence.

There are individuals with somewhat useless quirks, so they dedicate themselves to other studies such as constructing equipment for use in the field.

So there's no place for power-less heroes like Batman or Ironman?

At least he didn't burn the book completely.

The can live normal human lives, but yeah in this world I can imagine it sucks.

he gets better but never scraps that angry personality.

which is honestly good character development, just because a character grows doesn't mean their entire personality and behavior pattern should change

Sweet mom. SHe just wants her son to be happy.

Who would want to break that innocent little kid's heart? So cute. It must have been hard on her as well. I imagine in that world it would be like being told your kid would never be able to walk or see.

In Japanese society in these cases it's more like the mother feels she is responsible for her childs' failures, so this scene is even STRONGER over there!
