I believe the implication is that it's demonic power. The book and sword are black, and I think there was some kind a shadow of a demon behind him or something when Asta first grabbed the sword in the first or second episode. Would explain why no one can sense anything from him. 1

Ginguy Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 I was disappointed in the general lack of Pecker, but I guess at some point this show has to attempt to have a plot. It was an entertaining, if slightly predictable, episode, and sometimes it is good to see the good guys get beat.
