Codename: Jackass Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 It really really sucks. I had a couple episodes of it back when I was 22 and it fucked me up good and proper for a while. 1
Poof Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I’ve never experienced it without a chemical. It’s jarring & frightening enough w/a substance. I can only imagine how bad it would be to naturally experience it unexpectedly from stress or whatever else.
Codename: Jackass Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 I was smoking weed a lot and having panic attacks from it and one day I had a panic attack and just sort of fell into it. It lasted for about a month, gradually subsiding after a couple weeks, but it was not pleasant. I stayed sober for a while after that.
NaBarney Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Relax and allow the tussin to take you away from yourself 1

IKMongo Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Only drug induced from what i remember. Although i did get stuck in a dream loop for a bit. Happened like 10 times in a row where i woke up, got ready for work, and as soon as i got to work i woke up to repeat the process. That fucked me up for a while.
garbagepailcat Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I have premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and sometimes it reallllllly fucks me up. It’s usually just a mild sense of dissociation, but if I’m under a lot of stress, it can border on depersonalization.
