Doom Metal Alchemist
Today at about 4:00 PM, I heard an ice cream truck driving outside. An ice cream truck. In fucking November. Why? The only logical explanation I can come up with is it was actually a pedophile masquerading as an ice cream man.

Doom Metal Alchemist
It's California it's not that cold and ice cream is a popular option Well if you stick someone from Chicago here they're not going to think its cold, but it's cold enough for me to need a jacket and long pants. And in all of my 34 years of living in this state, I've never once until today heard an ice cream truck in November.

Around here, they're typically around until the last leaf falls and there's a layer of frost on parked cars. Of course, the guys on the beach who sell it out of coolers are gone the day after Labor Day. They spend from Labor Day to Memorial Day in Florida. I always thought ice creams trucks were pretty much just a summer thing. I would think they wouldn't be profitable enough to drive this time of year. Codename: Jackass
There's this low-rent ice cream truck that drives around town from time to time. Obviously not sanctioned by any business or ice cream company. I'm convinced the guy driving it is a child predator.

Codename: Jackass
I mean, guy's been driving aroundfor a few years now but it just seems off to me. Makes me wonder if the cops have investigated him or if they have anything to go on. I'd think he'd have to have some kind of permit to sell food. I'm probably just paranoid but it feels sketchy. There are two and sometimes three ice cream trucks that circle the West Adams neighborhood year round. One plays Christmas music year round. I'm sure you do need a permit to sell food. Maybe he's just an independent business man being his own boss.

scoobdog
Depends on the neighborhood. The street my brother is on is still predominantly Latino, and the trucks always have one or two people walk up in front of the house.

Doom Metal Alchemist
Ice cream sales rise during winter. And that's blowing my mind even further. -_' Though now that I think about it, I guess it makes sense in a way, as in winter the ice cream won't melt as fast.
