Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 I think it would make me look dashing and mysterious.
mthor Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 No. Just wear an eye patch. Pirates used to do it so that when they went from sunlight to the relative darkness of the inside of a ship, they could flip up the patch and it was easier to adjust to the darkness. At least, that's what they said on Mythbusters.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 I'm pretty sure that's false. There's no way you can go around wearing an eye patch if you've got 2 perfectly good eyes.
rilkean_heart Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Because when you said that it hurt my eye and I don't want your eye to hurt
mthor Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Why not? It makes more sense than poking your eye out.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 I would say a scar would look cooler How about both?
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Because when you said that it hurt my eye and I don't want your eye to hurt Yeah but just think about how much cooler it'll be in the long run.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Why not? It makes more sense than poking your eye out. I don't see how.
Misaka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 I think it would make me look dashing and mysterious. https://patient.info/health/corneal-injury-and-foreign-bodies It's your money and insurance
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 https://patient.info/health/corneal-injury-and-foreign-bodies It's your money and insurance You're right. What's the point of having insurance if I never use it?
Misaka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 You're right. What's the point of having insurance if I never use it? I would suggest reading that article first
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 I would suggest reading that article first That sounds like a lot of work.
Misaka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 That sounds like a lot of work. Insurance will only cover some of the bill the rest is on you
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Insurance will only cover some of the bill the rest is on you I see what you're doing.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Is that so? You're just trying to talk me out of this so that you can steal my idea.
Azalar Hex Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 I'm pretty sure that's false. There's no way you can go around wearing an eye patch if you've got 2 perfectly good eyes. I'd gladly give up depth perception in exchange for being able to go into a dark ship being able to see so all the pirates and ghosts already inside don't get the jump on me.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 I'd gladly give up depth perception in exchange for being able to go into a dark ship being able to see so all the pirates and ghosts already inside don't get the jump on me. That's the fun though.
Misaka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 You're just trying to talk me out of this so that you can steal my idea. My vision already sucks I'm not screwing it up any more
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 My vision already sucks I'm not screwing it up any more I'm not falling for it. Watch out, buddy. I'm on to you.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 And what are you gonna do about it Rudy? I'm gonna keep my eye on you.
Misaka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Whichever one I decide to keep. Than I'll be on the side that you didn't keep
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 No. Just wear an eye patch. Pirates used to do it so that when they went from sunlight to the relative darkness of the inside of a ship, they could flip up the patch and it was easier to adjust to the darkness. At least, that's what they said on Mythbusters. Mythbusters only said it was plausible that they did that, not that they actually did do that.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Mythbusters only said it was plausible that they did that, not that they actually did do that. BOOM, LAWYERED

Sieg67 Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 You could wear an eye patch without poking your eye out but if you want to go that extra mile.
Cau Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 You could wear an eye patch without poking your eye out but if you want to go that extra mile. Why do you people keep thinking that's an option?
