1938 Packard
Is it still the same as it ever was or does it now have something cool to check out? I mean, the town don't even have any good shopping or a real movie theater the last time I was there.

1938 Packard
Fucking idiot. It's not like I had the damn time to explore San Jose when I was in CA. Place was mostly just a bus stop for me on the way to work. I went there looking for a movie theater and couldn't even find one mainstream, first run film. I ended up getting back on the bus and going to San Francisco for a movie. As for Japantown, I wasn't such a weeb back then and didn't even know about anime culture. Now, looking at the web, I can see its been there at least 100 years... just not in the part of town I was used to. And you think that makes me an idiot? scoobdog
There are many reasons why you are an idiot, not the least of which is your apparent inability to Google places before you claim to have been there before.

I was there in the 1980's. And no, I didn't explore it thoroughly.
bnmjy
The only thing I know of that's of particular interest there is the Winchester House, but that's been there for a long ass time.

That's a place I always wanted to see up close. Crazy, old lady thought she was accommodating the ghosts of people killed by Winchester rifles. Ended up building a house that resembled an Escher drawing.

NYC is where I go twice a year. Most recently, the Chinese section of Flushing. There's an H Mart and a place called Anime Castle. The Chinatown near Little Italy is fun too but no more anime stores left. I also go to Comic Con every October.

Last weekend, my bro and I finally got out to the Santa Cruz Mystery Spot. It's a bit out of town, but not much. It's a pretty good roadside attraction.
