NaBarney Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 This school massacre brought to you by Walmart© and /r/blackpill
André Toulon Posted August 12, 2017 Author Posted August 12, 2017 That can't be real If it were anywhere besides walmart, I'd be inclined to agree.
molarbear Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 I just, I can't... That has to be a customer's doing or a disgruntled employee
GunStarHero Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 That can't be real This could easily have been real. Wal-Mart employees don't give a shit and those signs are meant to be swapped out easily for seasonal sales. It would have been incredibly easy for both an employee or a customer to slap it up there long enough for a picture.

Sandstone Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 It gives a whole new meaning to the term roll back.
katt_goddess Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Oh WalMart. This isn't how you combat the viral pics of WalMartians you attract.
Hornshire Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Walmart apologized in the tweet.....I see nothing debunking it other than Kidney claiming he saw it on Reddit, but Kidney is less reputable than Packard Walmart's apology is even less reputable than Kidney. They start off by saying the sign has been taken down. Later they say they are trying to figure out what location it's at... So if they don't know the location of the store, how can they possibly now the status of the sign? It's purely PR bull shit, and gives no validity to the photo. Furthermore, the mashable article linked further down in the tweet chain now notes that this was a prank. It doesn't explicitly say it was photoshopped, so maybe it's "real" in the sense that the sign was physically on the gun display long enough for a photo to be taken, but it certainly isn't real in the context the photo itself implies.
