Yes, still don't know what the fuck was up with that.  That debt help ad is something you'd see in deep cable.  Scary to see such a low quality ad during Toonami.

Then again, I try to focus my posting during the commercials so I won't miss stuff by posting during the shows, so maybe I don't catch all of them.

Part of the enjoyment in watching CWCLV was the random appearance of the ads telling you to pay off your national debt. Made for a fun 4chan discussion, I can tell you that much.

Who could forget the classic Shirley Temple ad that played in the early morning hours back in like 2013?

 

And now we have that Gerber commercial, and a commercial advertising talking to hot girls over the phone.  They can't seem to decide whether or not we have significant others (as the Gerber ad implies), or if we're single.

My personal favorite ad that's popular right now is the one about taxes featuring Bob Eubanks. The way he mangles the pronunciation of "refund" is always good for a laugh. Between that and the relentless deluge of Taco Bell spots, Toonami seems to know exactly what content I crave.

The debt relief ad was creepy.It was mostly during the DST hour that doesn't count for ratings. Therefore, mostly commercials that are local and not sales were airing during that time. It was still creepy as hell
