Man holds his liquor, but my money is on ghosty.
-
Not the words I would have used, but point taken.
-
I do now.
-
This isn’t going the way I expected.
-
Oh ok… Wait, how did you know he was coming?
-
Seeing as he thought it was your house, obviously you were there first.
-
I just assumed you fucked the same mom when you were robbing the house. Not at the same time because that would be weird.
-
So… whose mom did he actually sleep with?

Of course. My line of inquiry is to what the polls say about voters now more than the candidates. -

McCarthy Speaker & GOP House Majority Drama

That's one of the many unanswered questions I have - how can so many people subscribe to conspiracy theories? It makes a lot more sense in the context that right wing media has something like 30 years to prey on people with those same latent racist and bigoted tendencies to explicit indoctrination through partisan heresay, conjecture, and speculative fantasy. It's a potent and effective combination. Nonetheless, it still requires a broken intellectual faculty to spurn the overwhelming truth of a situation for improbable conspiracies. For it to happen on such a large scale is both fascinating and frightening. We're effectively acknowledging that a rather large segment of our population is intellectually and emotionally compromised. -

That's assuming voters will support him which is reasonable based entirely on polling and historical precedence, but it doesn't explain why they will support him. -

The question is: why isn't he worried about Trump's criminal charges? Is it because he thinks nothing will come of them; is it because he thinks voters won't care; or, is it a mixture of both? We continually dodge around it with the general understanding that Trump voters are vocal minority may up of racists and idiots who are motivated and in the right constituencies to power his poll strength. But, why is he so special? -
2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences

So, what does it mean that Biden is behind Trump in some key swing states? Obviously we're still a year out and months away from the first primaries, so it doesn't have direct implications on voting. Also, MD's musings don't really delve into specifics. That said: Does it indicate Trump is more likable? (Most likely no, but it's still worth asking if we're gauging who's enthusiastic about what.) If enthusiasm is a factor, how does that translate into unofficial poll numbers? (We know that people will ignore polls when they don't have any vested interest in knowing the results; beyond that, how do people who are disenfranchised by the process reflect their malaise through poll participation or lack thereof?) What specific failures can opponents point to as reasons for Biden's low approval rating, and how do they relate to polls this far out? I'm just a little curious as to what we should be looking for as we start the primary season. -

I hope that’s the case. State regulatory limits are tighter than when the base closed, so that’s likely contributing.

He tends to put his foot in his mouth, but there’s never been a legit reason to actually hate the guy. It really comes down to him being the goofiest of the Chrises.

Assuming they completely remediated that area, It still takes something like ten years before the soil is remotely safe.

Nothing per se. He's just getting overexposed like Chris Pratt. Frankly the Chris Pratt hate is kind of ridiculous.
-
At least Ernie still looks good. Those other fuckers look ancient. Also, Paul Rudd is turning into Chris Pratt.

The latest is that the whole area now has toxic air quality, supposedly from asbestos debris. Ordinarily, I think the whole asbestos thing is a crock of shit, but this time I kind of hope it scares of speculators.

No, Hezbollah hasn't waged a full war because not enough time has passed since the start of the Gaza incursion for the IDF to accrue large amounts of casualties. Seeing as apparently even Iran was somewhat surprised by the timing of the terrorist attacks, it's unlikely that Hezbollah, which is far better armed and organized, had an opportunity to coordinate a second front with the less sophisticated Hamas terrorists to the south. I only point this out because Hezbollah is more than capable of attacking Israel, and the IDF's sloppy, indiscriminate assault isn't instilling fear in anyone other than the helpless non-combatants in Gaza.
